Went by the bank to pick up my box of halves and the teller said she had $4.50 loose halves. I took them and got a 40% half! Hope this is a good omen for the box that I got!

There were 46 wheaties total. 16p, 18p, 19p were the oldest. There were a handful of 30s as well. The rest were 40s and 50s. Unfortunately, nothing else of interest.

 

Picked up weekly boxes of halves quarters and cents as well as $4.50 loose halves and $100 extra quarters.
2 boxes of halves: gold plated 87D NIFC
$100 quarters - 64p silver, 73S proof
2 boxes of quarters - "W" Lowell, 1994 Korea 100 won, Kansas "IN D WE UST"

 

Lucky you! Still yet to find any silver in my rolls here! Hope your luck continues!

 

I am almost up to a full roll of silver quarters since I started searching for "W" quarters. I've found "maybe" 15 silver halves in the same amount of time. Crazy.

 

Who knew, FF, that your search for W’s would lead to so many silver quarters, one of the most difficult denominations for finding silver. What a side benefit!

 

Honestly, I'd prefer more silver halves Most of the quarters I am finding are 64s. Don't get me wrong, I love silver....but I've only seen 2 90% halves in probably the last 6 months.

I'm new to this, but am on my 6th box of quarters. I just found my 2nd 2019-W quarter. In addition, I've found 4 silver quarters, 3 proofs, a couple of interesting errors, and I'm making good progress on a States Quarter album, and an America the Beautiful Quarter album.

 

Don't have pictures cuz I already put them in flips.....BUT....went my my local Shell station. Been going there twice a week for awhile and know the owner pretty well. He was complaining that he had a BUNCH of quarters to roll from out of his coin operated car vacuum. Told him if he'd let me take them home and look through them, I'd be glad to bring them back in a few hours all rolled up for him. He said that would be great. In the $120 in quarters he gave me I found one AMP W .....1 AMP with a grease strike error on the flags.....1 In god we Rust, and a Panama 1/4 Balboa (1996).
Brought the quarters back, and he had a 2007 Canadian Proof nickel sitting on top of his register....I asked to see it and he said here.....take it.
He says he gets Kennedy Halves pretty often and he will hold those for me if I want.
I said I'd like that, and I'd take any Dollar coins he gets too!. He was happy to hear that! LOL

 

Nice score Cabow, another 32 boxes the last two weeks with 28 skunks, Aug 20 I pulled 6 pieces of silver 4-90%ers 1-59D Bennie, 3-64, 1-68, and 1-69. 4 Clad proofs, On Aug 23 pulled 4 pieces of silver 1-64, 2-68,1-69, and Finely on Aug 29, I pulled 13 pieces of silver, 3-90%ers, with 2-61D's 2-64, 2-66, 4-67, 3-69 and 1-70. For NIFC 1-11, 3-17, and 4-18.

stopped at the local 7/11.....when I asked at the register if he had any Halfs or dollar coins, he was more then happy to hand over a 1967 Kennedy and 2 sacajaweas in great condition. I may quit roll hunting for asking at the registers! LOL

 

I searched the 2 ender box last night with my Mom and it was a good one with 23 silvers - finally! Best roll had 3 silvers. We had a good time!
