It's not a coin and it wasn't found while roll searching but I received a 1974 $5 in change recently. Nothing fancy or special about it -- Cleveland district, completely uninteresting serial number. Only worth $5. But it's still unusual to find a 45-year-old note still in circulation.

Back to slow going on the silver half hunt. $100 MWRs - skunk. $30 MWRS - skunk. $108.50 partial bag off a coin counting machine - 1927 Portugal 1 Escudo, 1974-D DDO. One Loomis box - no enders, will search later.

Well, when CRH for halves turns slow, you look for the small wins to keep you going. My last Loomis box from last week:
    1967
    1974-D DDO
    1999-S
    1980 Panama Medio Balboa
Hoping for better results this week, HH everyone!

The $140 in cwr halves I picked up late last week were skunks, as I suspected. I still have the $250 in mwr's to search.

The $400 in halves I ordered last week should arrive this week.

    HH everyone!

image.jpg Even when I get somebody’s dump roll. I almost always find something to keep! Never could resist a half with nice luster and very little wear!!

Bought $1000 CWR bagged up and ready to ship to Loomis this morning. Turns out it was only $900....Going to get my $100 back after they "investigate" today. I've never been shorted like that before. Oh well, the hassle was totally worth it. Found another American Memorial "W" (no picture). and what turned out to be a Daniel Carr designed Washington DC Quarter minted by the National Collector's Mint. There is a clad version and a 0.999 Silver version. I lucked out even more by finding the 0.999 Silver version :)

Yeah I'm sure I will. They all know me there and I've never had issues before. I doubt I will this time. If it was a dollar or 2 off I wouldn't have even bothered. But $100 is quite a bit haha.

Looks like I just found a Fort McHenry 2013 - P doubled die. Anyone else out there ever found one, or know what it's worth?
