Here are my half dollar finds for the day. $1200 searched. 2x40%ers 2xProofs. I was supposed to get 4 boxes of halves but when I went and checked on it today, I was told that the branch manager cancelled it because she doesn't like ordering boxes of coins. She has been my nemesis for years. I can't wait until she leaves.

So you got rolls that were solid 2019? I haven’t been able to find those yet...I hear on the west coast (Denver minted Coins), it’s more common. I can’t find anything here, just typical mixed rolls with 2018 being the newest date. What carting company did the rolls come from if you know???

Out of the $260 mwr I picked up, none of the rolls were solid 2019. There were a few odds and ends in them as well. Most were 2019p though. Plus the 9 “W” quarters. They were Loomis wrapped coins. The teller said they had another box in the vault. I may go tomorrow and see if I can get that as well.

Well the 5 ender box turned out to be great - 60 silvers! The wife and I enjoyed searching the Loomis rolls. She found the best roll, a 5 banger. I found all of the 90%ers. She also found a very unique coin, a “Pledge To Live By The Golden Rule” Coin from Paris, TX minted in 2000. Here’s the silver tally and pictures:

    5 x 1964-D
    4 x 1965
    9 x 1966
    13 x 1967
    15 x 1968-D
    14 x 1969-D

Nice @TexAg ! I was supposed to pick up 4 boxes yesterday but when I went in to get them, I was met by the branch manager who told me that they cancelled my order since they don't like to order boxes of coins. Ugh. I hate that branch so much. The tellers are cool but the management is garbage.

I feel for you FF. On the the positive side, I’ve never seen as much turnover and transfers as in the banking business. Hopefully that Manager will quit, relocate, or get promoted and out of your way.

Hey Guys, have to post because i lose notifications on this thread if i don't post in a while. I haven't been able to pick up halves lately (due to lack of banks having them). Still asking away though.

I just graduated from community college and am transferring to a 4 year state school... and you know what that means... a totally different array of banks to hit!!! I look forward to making friends with the tellers over there. Maybe I'll finally stumble across a W quarter one of these days! Summer classes start Tuesday so we will see what is up over there.

Congratulations on your graduation and good luck at the state college Ace. Yes, a new environment means new opportunities to find coins! Coin collectors are like fly fisherman - always optimistic, lol.

I'm up to six 2019D pennies from the BBVA Compass box.
The CWR box is very different from the last one.
Getting plenty of clean shield pennies and nice memorial coins as well. The copper tends to be cleaner too.

I picked up a sealed box yesterday from the same bank that I found the 9 American Memorial "W"s in on Friday. This box was over half-full of 2018P Pictured Rocks. I didn't expect anything. Imagine my surprise when this popped out of a roll. There were only ~15 Lowell quarters in the whole box. All were "P"s except this one. Brings my total "W" haul for the weekend to 10 (1 Lowell, 9 American Memorial).

That’s a nice haul for the weekend. Congrats!

I’ve noticed quite a few of the W quarters out there being found lately are scratched up already..I think this will be the norm after the initial release. If we don’t find them first out of the roll so to speak...right after the initial release of each, they are gonna have some damage. I’m thinking that the mint ones will be the ones worth money and the rest will end up being placeholders.

I’ve only found one...in my change. So the search continues.

The American Memorials I found on Friday were mostly decent. A couple had some contact marks but the majority were good. Probably because they came straight from rolls with no circulation.

Yeah that’s the trick with these I think. Gotta find them first!

Got $25 in customer wrapped rolls on Friday. I had an itch I had to scratch (haven't been roll hunting in some time) so I tore into them on Friday night. I was real happy in the beginning. I found a few 2009's, a few wheats and then I opened this roll and the whole thing was wheat cents! :) :) :) :) :) Wow. That never happened to me before! IMG_7292.JPG
