First 2 boxes of half dollars each had a ‘64 Kennedy
    Next box had 5 ‘64 Kennedy’s including one gold plated ‘64 E00DE003-D83B-4847-886C-7D461F6B42A8.jpeg and 16 40% Kennedy’s. Also a ‘53 Franklin and a ‘42 Walker. And 3 proof coins, a handful of NICs
Next box had a ‘40 and a ‘46 Walker. The ‘46 was immaculent. Also 11 40% Kennedy’s, a proof coin, more NICs and 3 no FGs.
    Next box had NOTHING.
    Same for the following box.
Bought 10 rolls and found an ‘07 Barber half.
Last 5 boxes had nada again.

I opened Box #6 (4 enders) with the wife, it was very good (32 silvers):
    1 x 1953-D
    1 x 1954
    1 x 1954-D
    1 x 1961
    1 x 1964
    1 x 1964-D
    1 x 1965
    6 x 1966
    7 x 1967
    8 x 1968-D
    4 x 1969-D
Box #7 (companion to Box #6) was a skunk for silver. It had 17 NIFCs, a few of which are keepers for my duplicate tubes. It also had the 2013 Panama Medio Balboa ender, a circulating commemorative of the 500th anniversary of Balboa’s discovery of the Pacific Ocean. Overall a great week of silver, 78 pieces found. HH!

i went to my bank on saturday to trade out some rolls. i was hoping to get some of mine that i turned in when i first started so i could get the 1969 cent that i put in thinking it worthless but now i need it for my folder. i got a total of 8 rolls. i opened one, the first end was a 1974-s. so i finished going through that roll and i was amazed. there were 20 of the 1974-s cents. one 1970-s and the rest were zincolns.

Killing time yesterday and today until I get my weekly boxes later in the week. Decided to reduce my hoard of the more common coins beginning with small dollars. Still keeping the Uncs and NIFCs along with a tube of high AUs here and there in case I want to build albums with the Grands (they’re too young right now). Next will be halves as I need the storage space. Plus I need to finish going through my Dad’s hoard of common circulated coins so I can monetize most of it (at face value), and buy the better stuff from Mom. That should consolidate things quite a bit and make it easier on my heirs when I go to my happy reward, lol.
Just started a Toner album of all modern denominations, and this find from last week is going in. It’s the most golden toned Half I have found without being plated.

I deposited my paycheck Friday and I typically hold out $100 or so in cash, and the teller asked "How do you want that?" I typically say $2s and halves, and she was already smiling when I asked if she had any rolls of half dollars. Turned out she had one roll of halves, and $40 in $2 bills. Nothing special in the $2s, but the complete roll of halves were 40% silver 1967-1969 Kennedys.
I was pleased. Took them home and placed them in my box.
It's the first time in 7 years I've gotten and silver halves a that bank.

Picked up 4 hand rolled half dollar rolls about a month ago at my local credit union. Found 6-40% silver Kennedy's; 2-1964 Kennedy's; and 4 1954-P Ben Franklin's. Does anybody ever find anything in the bank Loomis rolls?; I haven't found a thing every two weeks when I go to the CU and pick up a couple of rolls or more.

Loomis MWRs are my best source for finding silver. But you need to go for higher volume. Try ordering a box or two and see if you get lucky. One thing to consider us where to dump your rejects. Don’t dump at your source bank or they are likely to cut you off.

I have an advantage here in Vegas to go to the downtown casinos and ask/buy as many penny , nickel and dime rolls as they will permit...some of these rolls are old, covered in dust as they have sat in their bins for ?? long

An MWR is a Machine Wrapped Roll and holds 20 halves. A Loomis MWR box holds 50 rolls, or $500. I should have said in my earlier text that I also like half dollar CWRs (Customer Wrapped Rolls) as they sometimes contain coin collection dumps (silver!).

I picked up $50 yesterday at my main credit union that I go to. They let me have the 5 rolls. I was surprised on 64 in it. I almost did not pick it up as the edge was very dark and it was difficult to tell that it was silver.

Picked up my first box of the week and checked it for enders. My first obverse Wender! No other enders in the box so unsure of what to expect when I start opening rolls tonight.

Today I searched my first four boxes for this week, 3 skunks, The first box yielded 1-66, and a 1893 Chicago Worlds Columbian Exposition Commemorative Half Dollar, Its in pretty good shape for 126 years old. If one only gets two pieces of silver out of four boxes, Puling a 1893 half makes up for the skunks. We will see what happens tomorrow!
