Those may not be CUD's. I posted one I found recently on the error forum with the same characteristics to both of these and was told it was more likely a MAD strike that caused a "finned rim" that rolled over in circulation. I could not match it up to any of the known CUD's and this explained why. Cool that you found 2.

Picked up a single Loomis roll from a “no account” bank and I found a 100th Anniversary 1967 Canadian 50 Cent (80% silver), my first. 4.2 million made. Going in the foreign coin album!

I work in a building with about 350 people and there is a small cu inside it. Today I stopped in at the cu to make a cash deposit and discovered someone had deposited a bunch of rolled quarters, dimes, and nickels moments before I arrived. The teller said the customer told her the coins came from a coin jar where he tosses his loose change.

I decided to prospect the nickels for collectibles, so I bought all $40 worth of nickels. If I find some keeper nickels in this batch tonight, then I may buy the dimes tomorrow...

    HH everyone!

Well, there was a 10 cent profit in the customer wrapped nickels I picked up at the cu in my office building today, but not much else. Oh well, it was fun to do a little prospecting :) B4E53BD1-F915-490E-B1A1-C7981D011107.jpeg

First box of pennies had the 1910 as an (ender?) wheat side out and the 1954-S in the middle of the roll. Not valuable coins but in good shape. Still going through the box.

I am finding dimes in a lot of rolls of pennies I get. Probably 6 out of 50 rolls so far. Odd how they must get in there. :)

No, i got those at the bank. Only getting them from there. I may have hooked up with a vending guy that comes to work. It takes him about 20 minutes to go around. He said I could go through the machines while he's filling them. SCORE ! ! ! LOL

In my last CWR box I found dimes in several rolls.
This box is a MWR unmarked white wrapped rolls.
My favorite rolls generally. But through 10 I've only found one wheat and not a lot of nice copper.

1 bank tonight had $7.50 in loose halves, with 1 being a difficult to see 40%er if one was only edge checking...Yes! 72BB6C33-5C54-48EE-8BD1-B36359B42E2D.jpeg

I dump my searched halves at a local community bank with 8 branches, all have old fashioned coin counting machines. I’ve dumped a lot of coins since I opened an account with them about a year ago. I’ve always wondered about the machines’ accuracy. So, I decided I would start counting my coins and compare against the machine. Branch #1 was spot on with the $300 I dumped there today, which made me feel better. I’ll test the other 7 in the days to come.

Don't go into the bank often, but when I do I ask if they have any customer wrapped halves. Couple of weeks ago, one 1964 from a roll and yesterday a 1968 D from a roll.
