Made the bank rounds at my Mom’s city collecting some small batches of loose and CRW halves. All skunks until my last stop where I bought $110 in generic brown wrapper CRWs. Bam! 1st roll had 4 silvers. The wife and Mom joined in the search and we found 43 total silvers. The wife had 12 in one roll and Mom had 5 in one roll. Lucky for me the teller did not search them first!

$7.50 in loose halves from my Mom’s local grocery store yielded 3 x 40%ers.

Here is something I haven't seen for a very long time, a box of halves with 4 silver enders facing up. This is more what I like to see. I pulled 2-90%ers, and 11-40%er, 2-64, 5-67, 5-68 and 1-69. I have to need to be more optimistic. It was all doom and gloom 4 boxes ago [IMG] 20181227_150756-ccfopt.jpg Dec 27 18 Finds-ccfopt.jpg

$110 CWR Nickels - Skunk for silver and 23 coins from between '39-59 all well circulated

    $235 CWR Dimes - Skunk

Didn't hit my normal amount of coin to search this week due to Christmas and family time, but hoping to overcompensate this coming week since I'm got plenty of free time. :)

I must state I have had a really good week after the long skunk streak, I pulled 18 pieces of silver, 6-90%ers and 12-40%ers, 1-45 Walker, 2-Bennies1-57D and a 63, 3-64 Kennedys, 1-65, 2-66, 4-67, 2-68, and 3-69's. Also pulled my second 2018D, a GEM 87D, and a 1989 D Bicentennial of the Congress Commemorative. Great way to end a week.

Picked up 4 Brinks boxes the last day I was in Houston visiting my Mom for Christmas. Got them back home and finally opened them. Two had been previously opened by a CRHer who put them back in the box as shown in the picture. The bank evidently turned them in that way to Brinks who simply resealed the box. All 4 boxes were ordered by me ahead of my trip and took a week to be delivered to the 2 different banks where I have accounts. Kind of a bummer as I won’t find any silver, but so far I have found a few late issue NIFCs. I also hit a few banks on the way home and managed a couple of 90%ers from teller trays (1952-D 1964).

Yes, the second box (which is pictured) does have a couple of proof enders (2000-S & 1987-S). Will open that one next. Box #1 had 4 NIFCs.

Box #2 of the re-sealed Brinks boxes yielded 10 NIFCs including the 2 proofs in the picture I posted previously (2000-S & 1987-S) and 1 more 1987-S. No silver :bigtears:

Good haul Arby! BTW, what is a GEM? I ask because the 87-D is pretty dinged up. Thanks!

    Howdy all,
Just checking in since it's been awhile.
Not much going on with CRH here. I did deposit a check today and they had $40 in CWR Halves. Gave up 3x40%ers. Not a terrible way to end 2018 :)
