    A little over 40 60s. Probably 150 copper.
No 83 copper. No apparent errors.

There is a section for errors you can post in as well. It will get more attention than if you posted here in this forum. Need a clear photo of the entire coin if you can. It could be an Internal die break or a die chip. It also could just be a bubble since this year is part of the infamous "Zincolns".
Welcome to Coin Talk by the way!

It looks like you have a minor die crack and a minor die chip. The die crack runs from the top of the scalp down through the area that you are questioning. Not worth more than a cent but it's still a neat find for sure!

Ha! Sigh. That would have been a find! As is often the case my fingers far outpace my brain.

Yep. People have been putting "counterstamps" like that on cents for ages, but there were tons of them made around the Bicentennial. To a coin collector, it's just damage, but if you're interested in Americana and it makes you happy, hang on to it!

End of rolling hunting week. 16 Loomis boxes. I was anticipating a skunk run but I dodged the bullet.

Nickel box #17 is in the books. Much better results with this box than the last half-dozen. Still no buffalo's but did find a pair of silvers and a heretofore unfound date/mint:

    30's: None
    40's (cu-ni): 41D, 41S (always nice to find), 46, 47, 49D
    40's (ag): 42P (first one of this date/mint), 43P
    50's: 51, 52D, 53, 54D, 54S, 56D, 57D x2, 58, 58D, 59D x2

Overall, 19 keepers. This brings my keeper find rate to 1.08% for nickels. Additionally, I have now found 51 of the 61 possible date/mint combinations for a completion rate of 83%.

Thanks, I am sure as you know its only a matter of time until the dreaded skunk streak will hit. Just looked at my spread sheet I am 6000 away from the 500,000 mark for 2018.

Hey @Sam Carter . Congratulations on another nice silverhaul! Just curious what your total silver half dollar recovery rate has been since you started CRH. Thanks.

In the past years it’s been about 3 silvers per box on average, this year it’s been closer to 6
