With my days cut from 6 to 3.5 my hours mean there ain't much money left over. Doing a cent box a week is about as good as it gets. Sad, but that's the way it is.

Not the best day. 2 boxes of halves = nothing. 2 boxes of dimes = 1 1958d

I don't usually get a box on Fridays, I went bank hopping today and one bank had a sealed box, Skunked! Another Bank had 8 CWR's all skunks as well, another bank had 5 dollar worth all 1976's and another bank had one lonely 67 in her tray. So with that one I hit my weekly goal of 10 this week. Me Happy!!!

Somehow I managed to pull this out of my next roll. Another coin-incidence?

No 41's for me. Wrapping up my latest nickel box (#10), I found 15 from the 50's, 6 from the 40's (not silver), and a pair of 1939's. Also found a pair of silver 43P's. In foreign, there was a single Bahama 2000 nickel but it was fairly badly beat up so I'm returning it back to the wild. The high point of the box was a 2001s proof.

As of this box, I have found 49 of the possible 61 date/mint combinations pre-1960. The only ones I'm still missing are the semi-keys, a couple of Silvers, and a few S-mints. My nickel keeper percentage is holding steady at 1.1% or approximately one keeper in every two rolls. The most frequent find is still the 1940 followed closely by the 1959d.

It was a Denver! But then I realized , either mint would have been fine for a hole filler

These were my pre 60s finds for today’s hunt ( 54$ ) ... minus the 41 Denver, 42 plain(non silver), and 1951 S that I’ve already added to my book. image.jpg Also got the 2 moderns I was looking for (2004D Lewis and Clark and 2008 D) waiting for the modern nickel book to arrive in the mail!

I made up an upper 6 roll of copper with at least 25% 1974.
Have 2 more 74 rolls, a 75, and a few others still to go through.

when I'm going through all my rolls, what's the best way to sort them without damaging them. I've been going through them so slow because I think I'm going to hurt them. I'm I being to cautious,or can I just toss them into piles by year?
