Over the last two days, $260 MWR dimes and $100 MWR halves. All of that yielded a grand total of 1 1964 dime. But better than nothing.

I went to a Compass bank in Livingston and bought a box of pennies. It would appear that with a few exceptions I got a whole box of 2017D. Sigh.

Finished up a box of nickels this morning. Typical assortment of early Jeff's: 39, 2x40, and an additional 14 from 1946 to 1959. Also found two silver nicks: a 49P and a 44P.

In addition, found some interesting non-Jeff stuff: a 1927 Buffalo grading G and a 1989 Swiss 20 centime. This makes two Swiss coins I've found in the past month.

I've already given up on putting 10 copper in each roll.
With all the monatoness 2017D I'm putting anything else with 1 copper.

Box of halves yielded eight 40%ers. I'll take the ounce of silver. Still envious of all the big scores lately but happy for all of you at the same time. Have 2 maybe 3 more boxes this week. Keep on Rockin!

Dang! It couldn't even have been 2017-P cents and take some of the sting out!

My second four boxes for the week all skunks. Not much else to state about that. Good luck everyone.

On the plus side I've rolled 20 and still have 34 left.

I purchased $25 in CWR and the amount of copper cents in there was CRAZY!!! I hit a lull but this just put me back in the game. Time to hunt for some older errors!

The last 4 boxes I've had this week have also been chock full of copper. Strange.

Half Box 6 of 6 yielded about 2 rolls of 2014/2015 NIFCs, and no silver. Oh well, I’m very pleased with 71, 40% and 8, 90% in the 6 boxes I looked through while on vacation outside my home state!

A new personal record (by a long shot)

    HH all!

I actually like to get the bank wrapped rolls but here lately the customer wrapped are killing it. I'm trying to get as many 2017P as I can but that has been a bust. I just picked up $75 worth of cents (3 boxes the other day. The most I've ever asked for at a shot) and the guy at the window asked me if I was trying to get back at someone, lol. I said no, I like to look through them for errors and he laughed. It's a hit or miss as far as bank or customer wrapped. The thrill of the hunt!!!

Great Score! Probably lame to have 6 boxes to dump while on vacation. I went on a trip to San Diego and had to get rid of Two boxes I got there. Ended up Rolling them and dropping the rolls off at a few different banks.

I went to the bank the other day and nabbed $60 in various coins and while looking through the pennies I found a 1943 S steel penny. It's in pretty bad shape, but it's the first steel penny that I've found, so I think it's pretty cool.

I'm cultivating a relationship with a teller at a bank I do not have an account with. First time I went there a month ago, Norma sold me $100 in half dollar MWRs and I found 1 silver. I went back again and she sold me a partial box of $300. She said, "She likes to get rid of halves". So I gave her my number and asked her to call me if she had some to sell. Hopefully, they will be CWRs going forward. Finally got around to the partial box (Loomis Yellow Wrapper) and found (4) 40%ers and 2 NIFCS. Will drop by tomorrow and give her an AU Bicentennial in a plastic case as a gift. Started giving those or birth year halves (post 1970) to my favorite tellers and they have been a big hit.

I dumped off half of my week's searches at one of the CU's I frequent. Mary, the vault manager, likes me and my son and saves us all the stuff that goes into the coin machine's reject cup. Nothing amazing besides a lot of world coins from Ghana, Ireland, Jamacia, Philippines, Canada, UK, etc...Always fun to look through those.

Yeah it's about time to bring them coffee and donuts on a Saturday. Perhaps next weekend since they will be closed this weekend.
They are strictly a dump bank. I have $20 in an account there and funnel a bit over $3k through their machines a week.
