Halves Box 4 of 6 had 3 silver enders showing when I opened it. I flipped the rolls and found 3 more. 1 of them is a double ender with the obverse of ‘64s showing on both ends!

I absolutely guarantee this will be my best box ever with regard to silver finds, woohoo!!!

I’ll report tomorrow or so when I finish searching the box.

Finished my first box of cents. A nice 74P clipped planchet came out of the first roll. The rest of the box was down hill from there. only 6 wheats and nothing else of note besides a 1947 Canadian 1c.

My favorite teller set aside a couple wheats for me, lo and behold, they were both hole fillers. What are the odds?

The '31 is very cool, I've never personally found a depression era (31-33) coin in the wild.

I made up 10 rolls with 10 copper to try the second bank.
Got a mission after work tomorrow.

Can't wait to see the resulting pics Berto, looks like you got a good one! Are those Loomis yellow wrappers or NF String?

    NF delivered by Loomis.

Good to know, thanks. I've only found 1 silver in about 4 boxes of NF String wrappers. Glad to know you can find silver in them.

I took 10 penny rolls with 10 copper in each roll to the second bank and traded. Have gone through 5 and got 20 more ugly copper to use. Nothing earth shattering to report.

Final count from halves Box 4, which had 6 silver enders, one of which was a double ender. Two rolls held 5 silvers each:

    1, ‘51 Franklin
    7, ‘64P JFKs
    3, ‘65 JFKs
    4, ‘66 JFKs
    16, ‘67 JFKs
    15, ‘68 JFKs
    7, ‘69 JFKs

    8, 90%
    45, 40%

By far MY BEST BOX EVER, WOOHOO!!!

    on to Box 5...HH all:)

A 1912 Canadian dime last box, now this

    20171107_175855.jpg

I only count it as half a dime...it's super thin! Amazing there is any detail left.

My first Barber dime crh...it really is half as thin as a regular dime. No reeding left either. I knew from the edge it would be super old.

Half Box 5 of 6 yielded 6, 40%ers with 5 of them BU. This box contained more coins marked by local hunters I’ve seen in boxes for several years.

    But I’m satisfied!

1 box to go (6 of 6). No enders showing...

Glad it's raining Silver for some of you. I won't get my boxes of halves til the end of the week. I am totally due. It's funny how we all feed off each other. I don't think I would ever have thought I would be doing 4 boxes of halves a week when I first started CRH.

I know what you mean, when I started this I never thought I would be doing 12-16 boxes a week. Nor did I think I would be still doing it for four years and still finding some very nice scores. You will get there too just don't give up.

Well I don't do 12-16 boxes a week. Instead, I'm taking about 3 weeks to do ONE box. !!! (I'm very slow as I only look through 3 or 4 rolls a night). Most recent box of halves finished last night finally yielded some decent silver....

    12 40%'ers (2x66, 6x67, 2x68d, 2x69d), a handful of NIFC's (03d, 2x03p, 05p), and a single impaired proof (11s).

Gonna focus strictly on cents and nickels for a few weeks and get a few more boxes of halves ordered later this month.
