Searched a box of halves and found 6 40% silver coins

That's pretty good compared to most boxes I've searched as of late....

Found a bank while in another town that had Brinks rolls of halves. Only had enough money to get $100 worth.

No silver and no keepers....

 

Went to the bank today and got $20 worth of Halves got a 1986D otherwise nothing, next I got a box of Nickels, no silver but I found the following

1 1956P

1 1957P

Then I got a box of pennies I had a streak on the line of 2 boxes in a row with @ least 1 pre great depression penny in each box I found the following
1 Rail Splitter
7 Professional Life
5 Log cabins
1 Red 1965
1 Red 1970D
1 Red 1968P
1 1934P
1 1938P
1 1941P
2 1942P
1 1944
2 1951D
1 1957D
Now for the best one I have found in circulation ever in my days as a coin collector
I found a 1911P very beat up but i could read the date with a magnify glass I could not believe that I have made it 3 straight boxes now! Oh and I went to a different bank then where I found the first 2.

 

Another box of halves.....found another 6 40%ers.

 

I'm finally back on a roll.

Have the week off, so I visitied a few banks and found about $125 in customer wrapped rolls of halves and loose haves.

Went to the banks today and got 1 box of pennies and $180 in halves from the halves I got my 1979D Half dollar I needed for the album now all I need are silver, also found 2 1982P's with FG on them.

On the 1982 (and 83 and 89P), you want to find them WITHOUT the "FG," that's the error.

 

Way to go Bob! I bought 7 rolls of customer rolled halves but they all had an X on them meaning they are someone elses junk halves that does not want to come across again. So I looked through anyway and nothing. Boohoo.

 

Thanks guys, my first 90%ers for a while, and you know how Erin's luck has been going......we live just minutes apart. I was starting to think it had all dried up, but had some nice finds this week so far....

Went through 10 rolls of nickels yesterday:

and a 69S I needed for the album.

 

Bob, how about I pay for the gas and we split what you find driving around? LOL nice finds. We went to a few banks yesterday on the way to coin store in Bellaire. They give instore credits for A's so I took the kids over with report cards in hand to get a few coins. The only thing they have left are the barber halves.

Found another bank that had another 7 rolls of customers wrapped halves. Unfortunatly like the last rolls I found they had X's marked on all of them. I hate finding other peoples garbage!!!!! Then stopped in at the last bank before I called it a day and bought 9.00 of halves and 3 were 40%ers.

 

Went to 4 banks today, picked up 4.50$ loose from two, one bank with one roll and one with three rolls.

The loose & single roll were all clad.

The three rolls contained 3 clad coins.

56 40% (my jaw dropping)

That's it. They swindled me out of 50 cents!

I think I should complain
