I got this out of a penny roll. Looks like some scrap copper got on top when the dies came together.

    That's a lamination error.

Thought I would have time to lay they out and snap a picture. Tomorrow?[/QUOTE]
Here is the picture of my finds from the 20 Loomis boxes. Just a side note 8 boxes were from last week that I picked up Tuesday, 12 were pick ups yesterday.

    Final total after re sorting was 171-40%JFKs, 4-Walkers,5-Franklins, 16-90%JFKs, 3-87s, 1-03S, 72, 76,77 and a 99S(clad proofs) image.jpg

Truble, I don't know where you live, but your find rate is waaaay better than any of the four states where I've searched boxes of halves. Congrats, and I hope your source keeps producing.

I will never tell:) where I live, don't want extra competition. Beleive me I've gone through skunk streaks that almost drove me away from searching. I know I'm not the only one in my area searching. My skunk streak record is 23 boxes, my average coin per box is still just over four per box even though I seem to strike silver veins like this. The four per box may be higher than other areas from what I can tell. I also don't know why I seem to always find 1987P/Ds and Clad proofs in boxes. It may be the population demographics, proximity to a major coin processor, or some other unknown. But the roller coaster of skunk runs to silver veins is fun.

    Thanks

I have not kept a statistical record as good as yours when it comes to searching. I just log my silver finds and how it effects my cost per ounce of silver. I do this because I do purchase ASE's and other silver products. CRH has contributed to nice profit if I choose to sell. Anyways, my average in my area is 2 silvers per box. I have quit three times since I started in Feb. of 2016. I always come back within 2 weeks though! My worst skunk streak was 16 Boxes in a row.

Just found this 1972P Lincoln penny while going through a box of pennies. I think this might be a doubled die obverse? Please let me know if I am right or wrong. If it is a doubled die obverse, is it worth anything?

FWIW my average find per box of halves is 1 silver coin (128 boxes to date).

I just received a call from a bank I ordered a box of halves from letting me know my box of coins arrived. Some tellers are very friendly, and this was one of them.

Wish me luck because I'm ready to give up on local MWRs again.

yes it is, not the biggie, but some of the others are very good.

Post it to the errors section for more opinions.

I didn't have much time today...went to two banks and they had a total of 0 half dollars...one did offer several times to order a box for me...said I'd have to just tell the manager and she would be glad to order it...Thinking of taking them up on that.

In two rolls of nickels I got 5 1964s. The ubiquitous nature of 1964 nickels is astounding.

$10.50 of loose halves...nothing. Tried to get a box today but no luck.

Thanks for the info! I have not quite figured out how post to other forums or even start a new conversation yet in coin talk. All I know is how to reply so far. I will keep searching how to do it.
