That looks like a Philly buffalo. I think if it was a Denver you'd see a hint of the D. Nice to see them in circulation! :)

IMG_1657.JPG I know there's a slight MAD on this coin as well. But here's the better picture

It looks like there may be a die chip above the U as well. If the O is a die error and not grease you may have a nice variety piece here. Try posting this pic on this section of CT
    https://www.cointalk.com/forums/error-coins/
The error guys and gals will be able to tell you what you have, if something, better than I.

The first $200 in MWR halves yielded only dirty, circulated, common Cu-Ni clad JFKs, so I'm underwhelmed at this point. I'm still hopeful more than the single silver ender will be inside some of the rolls when I get time to open them.

In the middle of roll 13. Nothing earth shattering.
Need a better 2017P. Better 2015D (should be easy enough to find). Better 12D. Better 10P. Better 07D. Better 06P.

    Couple 80s one 70s. One 60s. A few 50s. Three 40s nine 30s.

$180 more of the $580 batch of halves yielded only more of the same drudgery; no keeper coins. The single silver ender is still staring at me from the last $200 worth. I'll probably have time to search this last $200 worth next week.

I ordered another $500 worth of halves from this bank. The halves should arrive next week. Yhe head teller said, "I'll order $500 worth, but I can't guarantee our vault has that many". I need to know if this bank can obtain $500 worth. If they can, then I want to know how the coins are packaged so I can compare to other orders I've placed with other banks, and whether or not my next bulk order will yield any keepers.

    Keep on keeping on everyone!

I had put aside nice 70s and a few 80s. Took out a few of my needs. 4 rolls for the morning before going banking.

Here is my update for this week. Received my 12 boxes yesterday and today. All 12 were unmarked so I am not sure of their Orgination. I crossed the 296,000 coin search mark, will cross into 300,000 territory next week. Broke 200 ounces for the year! 195 90% Walkers, Franklins, Kennedys 905-40% Kennedys. This week has been ok, 7 of the 12 boxes were skunks so all finds were from five boxes.

    Silver
    77-40% Kennedys
    9-90% (2-Walkers, 4-Franklins, 3-Kennedys)
    1-80% (1-1962 Canadian Half)

    Clad Proofs
    1-72s, 1-76s, 1-83s, 2-87s, 1-97s, 1-00s, 1-01s, 1-05s, 1-08s

    Until next week, happy Hunting.

I got a little over 50 oz of silver so far. Only been doing 4-6 boxes a week. I still think your area has better opportunities to find silver. My city is infested with coin roll hunters and Boxes are not as lucrative. It's fun for me sometimes although I have been getting burnt out with all the dumping.

I went to both banks this morning. Got 10 (best as I can tell CWR) at the second bank in town and 10 program Loomis MWR at the primary bank. Just went through the third CWR and it had but one copper in it. And the vast majority of the coins were cleaner than almost any roll I've ever looked at.
    None were needs of course.

    I don't absolutely need anything besides 2009P and some 50s and 40s.

Me too. I asked for customer rolls and for old bills at 5 branches of my bank in the past week. All said someone had beat me to it.

I'm not just talking about halfs. No customer rolls of any kind. No old bills. Just 4 two dollar bills. Just boxes of new cents & nickels.

I'm thinking of joining a new bank, to maybe increase my odds.

I've been dealing with the same at one of my branches. The last couple visits my least favorite teller has been telling me all they have is "fed" BU rolls (I didn't have to time to teach) but I joined another national bank as well so I can hit twice the branches without hassle. The funny thing is the bank of our country branches have the least helpful tellers and that's who I have my main accounts with. The other one I just do a monthly dep of a dollar to keep it free...the ladies there just love the chocolate and are very helpful.
Does anyone else live in a diverse area (rural, subs and urban within a half hour drive) and keep track of their best hits? I've been getting lazy and just hitting the branches around the house. I feel like the best silver hits have been around more urban/less uppity areas. I have found a lot of older bills in the rural areas I hit when I'm out of town though. I'm thinking I need to start swapping in the hood the next couple weeks and see if I can't strike any silver to switch it up from Whitman hunting for a bit. Still gotta shuffle the straps tho.

Finally got some time to organize and post the results of 4 boxes of pennies I got 2 weeks ago. The first two boxes had a bunch of wheats. Box 3 was brand new pennies with 5 random older coins in each roll. Didn't find anything in that roll except 2 dirty canadian pennies. Box 4 had 7 wheats.

    Wheat pennies: 25, 26, 37, 38, 2x 40, 2x 41, 42, 3x 44, 2x 45, 2x 46, 47D, 2x 48, 50, 51, 3x 51D, 52D, 53, 53D, 3x 55D, 56, 2x 57, 3x 57D, 58D

    Canadian pennies: 47, 57, 66, 68, 70, 83, 84, 86, 3x 87, 88, 91, 93, 06

and an ugly 1980-D Lincoln-JFK penny

Despite the fact I've not been able to make time to look through the remaining $200 in MWR halves with the one silver ender, I got a wild hair and stopped at 5 banks on my way home from work tonight. I bought all the halves they had...now I've another $160 in CWR halves to search

Oh, and 1 of the banks had 2 Ikes so I also bought them...nothing worth keeping.o_O

I feel bad when I post finds like this knowing not everyone has the same situation I do. Beleive me I've had my runs of skunks, a record I don't want to hit (18 straight boxes, ugh) and that was when I was only doing two boxes a week, so a nine week stretch of skunks was really bad and frustrating. I know there are others searching in my area, and they seem to focus on bank runs. I have meet one person dumping coins at the same credit union I go to, he searches Brinks.

I sympathize with dumping, and could not imagine dumping 12 boxes a week without my credit union.

    Good luck everyone!

Back to the grindstone this morning. 12 rolls to go.
Thinking it's possible that my 2017 to 1970 box will be
pretty close to perfect by the time I'm done.

That 20 rolls was good for several updates.
And possibly one need. Have to check. It might just be an update. I hope to get 10 from each bank. But the Air Conditioner is making noise like a motor bearing has loosened up. No telling how long I'll be working on that.
