    Finally, $1000 HALF bag filled.
I finally topped-off the half $ bag. It needed $231 to finish. BUT, would you believe that the bag was on the machine since 2/17/2016 !!!!!. Over a year in the making. Plus, picked up 3-dime boxes from other banks. Crossing my fingers for BIG SILVER.

    $25 CWR Cents: 41 (x3), 45, 47-D, 50-D (x2), 51, 53, 56, 56-D (x2), 68 w/ Kennedy counter stamp, and 588 copper cents.

    $100 CWR Nickels: 38, 39 (x3), 40 (x4), 40-D, 41 (x3), 46-D, 47 (x2), 48, 48-D, 49-S, 51, 52 (x2), 52-S, 53, 53-D, 54-D, 54-S, 56, 56-D (x4), 57-D (x2), 58-D, 59-D

$200 CWR Dimes: 16-S, 19, 21, 24, 26-S, 34-D, 36, 38, 47, 50, 53 (x2), 54 (x2), 54-D, 59, 63, 64-D - for a total of 18 silver dimes. Sadly I got through them too late on Friday to go back to the bank and clean them out of customer wrapped dimes. Still, a happy haul for me. The 21 and 26-S were hole fillers and a very nice surprise even in well-circulated condition.

Getting all the dimes and nickels into flips allowed me to have a great idea what I have and allows me to look at the coins for condition. I decided I needed better examples of some.
Went back through the rolls and fixed 2 of them.
Looked through my old incomplete folder and filled a couple of needs. I suppose I'll get back in the grind tomorrow.

Latest finds from $35 cents, $10 nickels. The three 1949 S were in the same box, two in the same roll.

Results started out slow, took about $150 into bag before finding the first 40%, then it got much better afterwards. Final numbers were worthy of waiting 15-months to fill; with 3-90%(1941D-Walker, 2-1964D Ken), 23-40%(66-69), plus 6-NIFC. I was happy with the numbers, for 4.5oz of silver. Who knows how much longer it would have taken had I not topped it off, or somebody else topping it off & buying it out from under me.
Results of the 3-dime boxes as: 4-Rosies(2,0,2). So the holiday weekend turned out OK for me. This was my first ever half dollar bag, now if I can just find other banks that sells bags. I'll try to post a pic if I can.

Flip the 42 Nickel over and see if there is a letter in the field above the Monticello house.

Nice finds! It's always nice to strike silver at face value!
Edit- I never thought to ask about $1k bags of halves... is the sorter you're talking about something you have or is it at your bank and you've been asking about its status?

With nothing better to do I went back through the nickels.
No changes though. Tomorrow starts it again.

A stop at a grocery store bank today yielded $2 in halves and 2 Ikes...nothing remarkable about any of them, but this bank usually has none so I'm satisfied.

Came across a teller who had a roll of 2007 P James Madison presidential dollar coins. For grins busted it open and curious about the marks just off the $1. Mint damage? Definitely not an expert on these but it was an original roll with a lot of Position B coins IMG_0625.JPG
