First MWR gave an update 2000D. Mine had a smudge on the front and a scratch on the back. I have a feeling that the mint let a bunch of 2000 out. There were 3 nice ones in that one roll. Roll 2 gave a nice 1971P fill.

    Back to the grindstone.

Wonder of wonders. Roll 3 had a 2009D. It was almost better (worth it to pull staples etc.) But not quite enough to make it worth it. Did get a really nice 1961D better by far than what I had. Roll 4 gave up a rough 2009P. But it fills a hole until better shows up (If ever). Absolute needs to get from 1960D to 2016P are 2004P Louisiana Purchase, 1972P, 1970P, 1969P, 1968P and 1968D. PLENTY under 1960D.

3 rolls of pennies down and NOTHING to report. Very few copper. Have 6 nickel and 3 penny to look at. My sister mentioned putting some gas in my truck. So that if I look at all the rest of the rolls I can go trade them tomorrow.

More D when P needed. Saw some great 72Ds.
    Saw a nice 70D. And a decent 69D.
Got one surprise in roll 11.

No strain at all. I was happy for her but still a little jealous. It's all good.

Another box of pennies done. Nothing spectacular. Nin common date wheats, 1 cdn. I did get a 64 Roosevelt in change the other day, though.

Haven't had much time for coins for awhile, so this box lasted over 3 weeks. But it ended with a bang! :)

    Box of BWR Cents:

Half or more of the box was filled with 2017-P's. Was getting one wheat per 7 or 8 rolls, so I didn't have high hopes. Then about 3/4 of the way through, I started to see more wheats, sometimes 2 per roll. I ended up seeing 19 wheatbacks (one roadrashed 51-D got rerolled right away).

On roll 47, I got a real surprise:

My 3rd ever roll hunted Indian Head! First one of 2017.

Needless to say, I was pretty shocked. I don't find these every day!!!

    Anyways... here are the wheatbacks:

    1934, 1938, 1944, 1944-S, 1945-S, 1948, (2) 1951-D, 1952-D, 1952-S, (2) 1953-D, 1954-D, 1955-D, (2) 1956, (3) 1957-D.

Since the box took so long, I didn't keep records of the Canadians, but there were more than 20. One was a 1949 George VI, which I will keep.

Also found a couple of 2 Euros and my first Equador Cent.

A boring box with an exciting finish. :)

I went to the second bank in town. Got 4 rolls of dimes.
3 of nickels and 2 of pennies.
Nickel deal was more D when I need no mint mark.
But did get the 2004P Louisiana Purchase I needed and a 2017D. First dime roll gave 6 fills. At this point every roll should give several.

And that's the way it is.

David, do you have or will you be trying the "Nic-a-Date" on the buff nickel? Most coin stores carry it.

I suppose I could. But the only coin store I know about is US Coins and it's pretty far away from where I live.
Just as likely is I'll drill a hole in it and replace the modern Bison on my keyring.

The nickel rolls gave an 88P update, an 83D update and a 72 with no mint mark. Not the very best example but it gave me a fill. First dime roll gave 2 fills, second 5 fills.
Going to give it a rest for a while.

This month I have only found 4.1 ounces of silver, not good my average is 10 ounces. Have some catch up to do. Will do five boxes tomorrow. Don't think I can get any more in this month after that. Remember, banks are closed on Monday!

I went and traded my rolls at the second bank.
Nickels allowed for three updates and this thing.

Near enough that it is the same size as a dime.
