Where do you find hand rolled rolls? I know TD Bank doesn't accept hand rolled coins because of the penny arcade. They also don't sell the full bags because "they may not be the exact amount".

    9th box

9 box in a little over 2 weeks. It was a String and Sons box. In was a perfect 1000 non-silver coin box. 9 in a row. Man before this run, had never been shut out more than 2 boxes in a row.

I was very doubtful of finding too much of anything on my last bag of dime for the weekend. First had nothing second had 3 silver dimes so wasn't expecting much. When I poured the bags contents on the floor and searched my first handful I found a mercury dime then I looked at the pile and saw 3 more right on top I sure was excited! In all I found 39 mercury dimes :D and 15 silver roosevelts :D by far the most mercury dimes I have found in a bag.

Went through 2 boxes of halves this week. 1st box had 1 1967 andfew post 2002 coins. Box #2 was better, 5 40% halves, 1 2006-s proof, the best 2008-P i've ever seen, and not 1 but 2 2009-s proofs!

Today my son and i searched a box of nickels and a box of dimes. We found a 1937 buffalo, 3 silver roosevelts and a 1940 merc. The amazing thing was that my 4 year old son found one of the roosevelts (1946). He's already discovered the difference in sound between silver and clad!

Nice find on all those mercs lincoln! Sorry about the 9 boxes with no silver, my longest streak was 5 and man was that frustrating!

I find them going to different banks and asking if they have half dollars....sometimes they come out with hand rolled halves.

Incredible finds on all of those Mercs, lincolnhoarder. Awesome.

I've never bought a bag of dimes, but will definitely consider it now!!!

Do banks care if you dont have a bank account when your looking for halves?
I know a lot of banks don't carry them so the excuse, "i'm trying to find halves but no one carries them" might work.

I haven't been able to order or return halves unless I have an account with the bank. Great finds on the Mercury dimes, I'll have to get a box now!

I just tell them "don't worry Ill cash them back in somewhere else." and I have no problems. Most banks just dont want to be stuck with them .
