3 banks while running errands after work tonight yielded $210 in CWR and $2 loose halves...skunk!

$200 of it was clearly someone's dump, but I'm a glutton for punishment so I went through them anyway. They were the dirtiest copper-nickel clad I've handled in a long time :hungover:

Oh well, maybe I'll find something worth keeping next time

I went through all 18 rolls much too fast to look for errors. Found a few wheats. A fair amount of of 2016 back towards 1975. Tomorrow going to mail a fund for a bicentennial Ike and a bicentennial Kennedy. And trade in these rolls for new ones.

When I say too fast to look for errors it's not like I would have missed any gross errors. I weigh every 1983 looking for copper.

1983 was zinc only. The mixed up year was 1982. So in 1982, there are 2 zinc and 2 copper coins to collect.

Ican't tell the dates apart. Either I have all small or large. After the first of 18 rolls I'm at about 15 coins needed. I sincerely doubt 17 other rolls will get me there but who knows....

Apparently there are 8 now, however the odds of finding the 8th are pretty slim to none except for a very few. I also don't think they will be adding it to a Dansco album anytime soon either lol.
1982 d small date copper according to Mr Potter :nailbiting:

I look for silver in every 1965 quarter or dime that i find" suspect " or looks tarnished. There are a few out there.

I got skunked on three rolls in a row. Have about 15 to look at with a loupe to make 4 in a row.

OK maybe there are a few white whales out there. Good luck Cap'n Ahab.

Re 1982, my bad. I knew there were large and small dates too. I've got rolls of the variations.

Somebody splain this to me. The black area is smooth as silk. In God we Trust is there and Lib of Liberty.
The dot in the middle is just barely felt.

This, a toned out of this world 2013 and 1942D are the only things in 5 rolls worth keeping.

10 boxes later, the halves IMG_5451.JPG spell has been broken! Between two boxes, this was the haul.

Not only zinc & coppers, but you also have large date P&D, and small date P&D. So, several sorts to be made there.

4 dollars in I have 7 needs. Two of them quite possible.
2005D and 1999P. I need one 2009P with the correct reverse to have a complete 1975 to 2013 Harris folder.
    I need 66D, 65D, 54P, 51P and 41D to be back to 1941 from 2016. A 2017P would get me from 2017 back.

A LOT to ask from 10 rolls.

Not sure which denomination you're referring to, cents I assume?
Good news, you can knock 65D and 66D off your list, no mintmarks were used in those years.
