Wow super! I've been trying to find one of those for years!! My father found a weak 72 ddo 3 years ago. Yours is nicer.

Pretty interesting. I'd say it is likely it was intentionally ground and buffed but I can't say for sure.

A suggestion for B Man - when hunting on route to California, dump at casinos on the way and back. They accept everything and can be better than banks in that regard! That's what I did when I hunted there and in Nevada three years ago when I drove from Salt Lake City to San Francisco.

No silver or Buffalo nickels today, but lots of interesting coins... my first EVER 1921 cent, my second ever 1954 cent, a 1960-D small date, my second ever 1998 Wide AM (and this one is much nicer than the first), a 1977-S proof nickel and a 2009-P nickel...

On a business trip to Dallas Today. Went to a Wells Fargo right next to the airport and asked for halves. They gave me $2.50 worth. Out of that came two Frankies and a 64! I then asked if they had rolls and they gave me $190.00 Worth. Half were Loomis and half bank wrapped. Nothing in those. Still excited about the teller score. Never thought I would get Frankies from one.

I have a problem on this trip. I will have lots of free time to hunt tomorrow because my meeting is in the morning. I don't think the Wells Fargos here have coin machines. I'm sitting on $200.00 of halves and I have to fly back Wednesday. Any advice?

Good Idea, but company pays for it. I might have to cool it with the Wells Fargos and just hit other banks. I will dump $60.00 at a time at the Wells Branches near me.

It was my luck I wished you!lol

Be there finding halves when traveling, I actually rerolled and loaded them in my luggage. TSA wanted to search my bag, but nothing they could say about half dollar rolls. Let me through.
