    A
A simple handful of half dollars in silver, yet such a beautiful thing. I had a run like that once (actually almost a full box of silver). I couldn't sleep the rest of the night. Wanted to wake the wife up to show her. Very cool feeling. I miss it.

    It's a Bermuda quarter.

I'm guessing acid bath. Maybe it was left in a bottle of Coke for a year or so...

32 rolls produced the lowest grade, non-damaged War Nickel I've ever found. This one is a nice Filler-2 grade 1943-P.

    Grocery store branch CWRs...

    8 rolls of Cents: 1944, 1953, 1955

    13 rolls of Nickels: dateless philly Buffalo, 1939, (2) 1940, 1941, 1953-D, 1955-D, 1958-D; 1 Canadian

    7 rolls of Dimes: 2009-D

18 rolls of Quarters: just a few that may be upgrades. A pretty decent 1974.

Nothing worth a photo, though the 1953 cent did have a little mint luster.

I'm in central California. The bank I go through will order me halves but only at $2k a pop. I ended up getting $50 worth of dimes no luck on any silver. First time doing this so I was still jazzed up anyway.

Got a little behind in reporting...

1 BWR box of Cents: 16 wheatbacks
1 CWR box of Cents: 16 wheatbacks
1 BWR box of Cents: 17 wheatbacks

As you can see, right on average. Foreign coins were higher, but they always are when I get CWRs.

    Results combined:

47 Canadians, 1 GB New Penny, 1 Cent Bahamas, 1 German 5 Pfennig, and one fake extra large Cent. To illustrate, here is a picture of the oddities next to my oldest find of the week.

    20161029_133139.jpg

Here are the combined US coin finds. There were also a few 2009s that got set aside, but I didn't count those.

    1925, 1926, 1928, 1935, 1937, (2) 1940, (3) 1941, 1942, (4) 1944, 1944-S, 1945, 1945-D, (2) 1946, 1948-D, 1949, (3) 1950, 1950-D, 1951-D, (2) 1952, 1952-D, 1953, 1953-D, (2) 1955, (3) 1956, (3) 1956-D, (2) 1957, (6) 1957-D, (2) 1968-S, (2) 1969-S, 1970-S, (2) 1971-S, (4) 1973-S, (2) 1974-S

All of the wheats were in average condition, no standouts. There was a nicer 1968-S and a nicer 1969- S that might be new B book candidates, but they weren't perfect. I already tubed them though, so sorry no photos of those.

Good hunting, fair finding this week.

    $310 in BWR Quarters

Filled 5 Denver national parks slots. Still need to upgrade most of those, but slots filled. There were no silver coins, but the 2nd roll surprised me with this:

There was one Canadian; an odd little date with a train on the reverse.

Box 3 of halves this week: skunk
    Box 4: skunk
    Box 5: 1 40%er

I did find a 1964 dime in a coinstar reject bin though. Close to 12 ounces of silver this month. Best month ever. Looking forward to what November brings on the halves.

1 box nickels. 1x war nick.
1 box cents. 12 wheats. Oldest was 1938.
That's it for this weekend. Not amazing , but better than nothing .

Also found an S mint wheat cent (1950), for some reason those 50S wheats seem to find me. I only have found 10 S wheats and 3 of those are 1950
