    Interesting finds in reject hopper

Searched 4 rolls of halves today. Just junk so I ran down to the coin counting machine (free) at my bank.
Just like last time someone left a bunch of coins in the reject bin.
Best find was a 1961D Washington quarter which has a new home in my Dansco for quarters. :thumb:
    A 2004 Austrian 5 cent Euro.
    1978 Canadian dime.
    2000 Canadian quarter "Health Sante"
    A few canadian cents
    One Canadian nickle.
A couple of gummy US clad quarters and a few sticky US cents.

Mostly every time I go there I find someone's rejected coins in the hopper.
I have to make a note to go more often.

I have had a few nice finds recently. Checked the reject bin of the coinstar and found 10 cents, 4 dimes, 1 winnie the pooh elongated penny, a car wash token (I don't know which one), and the big find, a 2003 German Euro. My wife couldn't be out done, so the next day she got a Cayman Islands quarter and found a 2006 Canadian cent on the gound

I just opened a $25 N.F.String & Son. box of Lincoln cents. The first roll I checked had two Zincolns, two
95 percent Memorial cents and 46 WHEAT CENTS :) all fom the 40's and 50's. I can't wait to see what is in the next 49 rolls. If I find anything worth mentioning I'll post it here.

I just searched through $80 in nickels. I would call it an overall success. I got 2 silver war nickels 42-S & 43-P. I found a 1982-P nickel that was 5% off-center. I don't know how that one got away for so long. And last but not least, the rarest one of them all, a 1955 (P) nickel. This coin only has a mintage of 7,888,000. It's taken $300 in nickels to finally get one.
I'll probably go back to the bank tomorrow for another $80 worth.

    1973-D Lincoln

I came across 3 rolls of 1973 D Lincoln cents. Still in original wrapper from Fed. Reserve. The outside coins are a little off color but I am assuming the inside ones are perfect. I had checked on PCGS.com and the value they give just seemed a little high. Anyone with an guess as to what these would be worth?
    Thanks

Coin Values lists them for $6 in 64RD and $0.15 in 63RB. I imagine they are worth about 25 cents each.
The roll worth about $10-15, but you would probably only get $5 or so from a dealer.

Yes, not too bad, but they are federal rolls though (slim pickens) in most, out of 78 roll's I've found 12 silver coins, no 74D DD, although I found one in Sept., 28 roll's to go:)
