Actually, the filled S is the common one. I found one a few weeks ago. The "Clear S" is the rare one.

    10 rolls of nickels: 4 pre-60.
10 more rolls of nickels: 5 pre-60. Does anyone ever have any trouble finding 1968-D nickels?

I see the occasionally 68-D, but the 68-S took a long time to find. Although I'm on the east coast where S coins are rare, I seem to get a 1970-S every time I search more than 3 rolls.

The last two boxes of halves from my trip had 8 proofs.

Out of the six boxes of cents I got I have only looked through 4. Box one had 13 wheats and nothing special. Box two had 8 wheats oldest being 1928d. Box three had 11 wheats and nothing special.

Box 4 was amazing. I found these two from the 1930s 1469756871032.jpg

Then I found the best wheat cent of the day out of the ten I found. A 1916! 1469756996999.jpg

This coin is my 5th indian head cent and my first of the year. It took me over 120 boxes to find it and the box did not even come from my state. It came from over a thousand miles away from my house.

Had a little time to kill before work today so I started a box of halves. Only got through 15 rolls before I had to go, but already found 9 40% (all '67s) and 2 90%. I found 3 silvers in one roll!... looking forward to gettin back to it tomorrow

Well I finished the $520 rolls, mixed excitement as I think it was a mix of someone's dump, accumulated bank deposits and a collectors deposit.

In addition to the proofs and USmint rolls, I found a '58 Franklin, a '52 Washington-carver Half ( I' snapped a quick picture of it since it's interesting) and 7- 40%. Silver find was not what I thought it would be, not disappointed though by any means.

Yes, the silver spigot Is back on! It's been many weeks of searching dozens of boxes, mostly skunks with a scattering of nice finds, but this box was just plain fun. Nothing like opening a roll and being rewarded with seeing that nice white stripe in the middle of all that brown, over and over! IMG_20160729_074950449[1].jpg
