Had a first today. Finally got around to this weekend's halves.

Hmmmm... I don't think that would work since they haven't had silver coins in a VERY long time.
I'm thinking of getting into Asian cash coins while I'm there since they will be easily accessible.

 

2 boxes ended with 2x 40%, 1x 90% Ken, 1 proof, 1 guitar pick.

 

Hoe long are you going to be there?

 

Do you always get this lucky? Wow I dont even have 15 40% coins.

More silver for the rest of you

 

I had a streak of 17 skunk boxes back from the end of March to the end of April. Once that broke I have been averaging about 10-20ish 40%ers and usually a few 90%ers as well a week. Before March, I wasn't getting as much but was still doing pretty well.

 

Do you collect foreign coins?

 

Well I will say you are lucky cause I don't get crap where I live.

 

Yup.

 

I live between Baltimore and D.C. I think coin moves around a lot around here so I get fresh stuff pretty frequently.

 

We may have to talk about trading. I don't think I have anything fron Korea.

 

I'm doing one box of halves this week. Been resisting the urge to do more but I don't have much time to dump on Saturday so I'll have to do with one. I Get it tomorrow. Could be the last considering I have gotten only 4 silvers since the beginning of May.

 

The itch doesn't go away...
I'm doing the opposite. Upped my 2 boxes to 6 boxes for this weekend only. Trying to dig deeper into the pile. Been having poor luck lately.
I'd normally do more but dumping is such a pain as it is.

 

When I get back, I plan on doing 6 boxes a week. 4 boxes was ok but 6 seemed to be a sweet spot. I can carry it all in one go with 2 bags.

 

It's the dumps that are killing me. I don't know what's going through all the bank employees minds when It takes 5 minutes of loud as hell coin machine going on in the background. I feel someday they will say no more.

How do you carry six boxes in two bags? Can you dump one bag all at once without the machine getting full? I dump one box at a time with a shoe box that is all duct taped up, lol.

 

I use plastic grocery bags to carry them in. I have about 10 bags inside one another Cheap and easy. If a bag gets a hole, I just replace it with a new one. One thing I always seem to have a ton of is plastic bags. For my dumps, I put all the unwrapped coins in to gallon ziplocks and carry them to the bank in my plastic bags. I can carry 2 of the gallon bags full in each bag without ripping my arms out of my sockets.

 

I was wondering where I left that. Can I have that pick of destiny back?
