Switch denominations for a bit? Nickels always have fun stuff.

Yeah, I'll give some nickels a shot. Have a box of pennies that I haven't gone through yet too.

Just unwrapped 200 rolls of 2016P cents. Ugh.

Sucks man. I'm still trying to figure out how I got a whole box of 1999D halves a week ago.

I'd say dimes have the most silver of all (more than halves IME). Nickels have the most keepers (only searched three boxes of nickels though).

Dimes suck for me. One silver per box average. Whereas with halves I have been average 4-5 per box. Nickels are fun though. Lots of cool foreign stuff plus it's fairly easy to fill a Jefferson book up. Not to mention Buffs, V-nicks, and war nickels.

I'm going to agree here. Dimes produce, but halves have that gambler edge - lose for a while then get a decent score and the bug is back. Halves have treated me well.
But other than halves, nickels have a good variety to look for. They're fun.
And cents won't make you rich, but I enjoy pulling each and every wheatie I find. George VI canadians are fun to find too.

    That's my two cents.

Dimes are tough. The first box I did I landed five silvers. After that it was maybe one per box. I pulled a Merc then stopped completely.

Just take a break from it guys. I'm in MN working on a truck with my college roommate this week. Next two weeks I'm fishing for walleyes.

When I get home I'm sure I'll be ready to tackle some boxes of coins. :)

Ok guys today has been hectic but worth it. I talked to a manager at another Wells Fargo and told them what happened. They gave me a number and told me what the lead teller had told me last week was false info. So I will pick it up on Monday and should be able to return coins in a week. I'll let you know.

Ok guys 1 box of halves had 3 silvers. It is my second best box and the most amount of silver halves I have gotten from a box. I got really excited and thought I had a monster box. First roll had a 1967. The 1969 is a d mintmark.

Ok guys I'm half way through and have found that almost 50% of all coins are uncerculated coins from the 70s and 80s. I did however find a war nickel. I will post pictures later.

Keep the faith... I equate it to the hitter in a slump... sooner or later you're going to break out of it.

In my experience, proof dimes and pennies are the hardest to find... Halves and nickels are the easiest...

They call that the "atheist off center" penny... I've yet to find an off center where even part of the motto is missing. Nice find!

I agree with you on Nickels. I've found lots of those. Thus far, I've found 2 proof Cents and 3 or 4 proof Quarters. No proof Dimes or Halfs. Found one proof presidential dollar.
