Are you talking about references for doubled dies or a particular coin?

I keep this guy around as a reminder. Took a few years to develop.

Oh, that is pretty bad then. I guess now that I've seen the photo I remembered that I had a silver dime once that had toned a nice blue and red in a fingerprint pattern and I kinda liked it like that but that nickel does look kinda bad. Hopefully palm prints don't transfer as much then. You think that one would be worth having graded before it starts then? I've never really sent anything out before so don't know what's worth it and what isn't.

I wouldn't. It's a nice coin but not worth grading fees.

I agree. It should go somewhere safe and that's about it I think. Maybe if it were FS.

I searched two boxes of pennies today. Box 1 had 14 common wheats. Box two had a 1913, 1924s, 1928, a 1929 and 11 other common wheats.

The 1913 and 1924s were both hole fillers!

    Nice! :)

I'm out of town for a few weeks, so maybe no finds for me for a while. Brought my coin goggles with me though. We'll see.

I have a box of halves to pick up at the bank today. It will be my second of the week. I am nervous because I promised myself I would quit if I got skunked. I have only found 2 keepers in the last 15 boxes that I have done and went 10 boxes in a row with nothing. Hunting halves was fun up until a month and a half ago when it all went to crap for me. So, with that being said let's see what the next box does. I will be getting it in a few hours after work.

Power through it. It will turn around. I won't be searching for a year so there will be more silver for everyone else :p

Ok guys I think my luck ran out. I looked through three boxes of pennies today. Box 1, had 1 wheat. Box two had 2. Box three had 1.

I also got nervous with a box of nickels today. I was on the last two rolls and was sure it was a skunk. How ever the first roll of the two had a 1945 P war nickel.
