Nice finds Noost!

I found 4 %40 halves today 3 in a bag and 1 in some rolls I picked up at a new bank. Getting two boxes of halves tomorrow to go through.

Went through 6 rolls of cents last night
2 wheaties (52, 53)
5 log cabins
3 formative

 

My best find lately wasn't in a roll from the bank, but on the floor of our local bargain store was a 1945-S silver nickel....better than anything I have found in a roll in a while.

You're doing much better than I. I just purchased two boxes of JFK halves through my bank (1000 face value). I just started the second box, and so far have only found 2 40%, and a 1943 Walker that's pretty well worn. Am hopefull the rest of this box will bring us some more. Interestingly enough, Have gone through it seems dozens of 1974's but no double dies yet..

 

Well, I got another box of 50 cent pieces today.

No 90%
Four 40%

A decent box, I guess. Probably about average. At least it wasn't a whole box of 1998Ds.

3 boxes of halves and no silver! Noooo!!! I have 3 more boxes waiting for me and I'm picking up 2 more tonight. Hopefully better luck!

 

I went through a box of pennies from a different bank and Oh my gosh the results were great

I found $110 dollars of half dollars at various banks today.............nothing.

 

2 boxes of halves yielded only 1 %40 also found

1 2005-D
2-2006-D
and this 1971-D half sure looked like a keeper to me

 

Personal Best Box ever!!

I had searched 16 boxes before and the most silver I ever found was 11 pieces. Then tonight in one box I found....



That would be 1 1964 half and 76 40%'ers!!!!!

Got a box of halves today.
The drought finally ended after 4 boxes of nothing!
4 40% & 2 2006-D, not great but better than nothing.
I hope to hit a few different banks tomorrow.

Congrats on the great box Aggie! After 3 boxes of halves and nothing to show for it went through 2 more last night. 73 and 82 Balboa, 1-64 7-40% 85 and 07 proof and about a roll each of 09 p and d.

I have 2 boxes of 50 cent pieces sitting in my trunk!
Just picked them up.
It's almost more fun waiting and anticipating than searching...
Nahhhh not really!
Especially when theres a six pack of Heine's sitting in the trunk too....
