    8 CWR of Cents.

3 coins short. 2 wheatbacks, but one was too roadrashed to save. 18 newer Canadians (2 were 'P' marked).

No upgrades, but the 1951 wheatback has some luster on it.

$25 BWR Cents - 538 coppers, 8 wheats including a 1929 in fairly decent shape, and 4 Canadian.

$90 CWR Nickels - skunk for silver, 16 average circulate from the 40s and 50s

$50 CWR Dimes - 1952 Roosie, which was the 3rd silver dime found out of 2600 coins searched in April

Box of Halves from the Bank:
    1964D

Yeah, that nice 64 Kender was all I got. Well, I think I am going into Coin Roll Hunting semi-retirement. With this last 64 Kennedy I hit my goal of finding a whole roll of 90% halves. I just hit three roles of 40%ers over the weekend. Kind of a nice place to take it easy for awhile since starting CRH in the beginning of February this year. I got a huge scare last week when I went to dump and three times at three different banks the machines jammed pretty bad. I caught a lot of flak from the bank employees for that. I was doing 5-6 boxes of halves a week for about 6 weeks. I'll continue to do one box of halves a week because one of my banks always orders one for me. When I go on business trips I'll look for CWR of halves too. Now, if CTRollHunter comes out of Full-Retirement I might go back to the old ways, that guy knows how to really do this and inspires us all!

Bman, I've been through 108 boxes and have found precisely the same number of 90's and 40's as you did in many fewer boxes...nice work!

On another note, I'm cataloging my coin purchases from the last 2 months today and I LOVE the sound of 90% silver on a wood dining room table!

    HH everyone

Everyone who gets rolls in Seattle---
I am dumping a bunch of NIFC and proof (is that redundant?) halves and bright 1981-D cents.
I am moving and there are things I cannot justify hauling and/or storing. So...into the coin counter at Home Street Bank they go.

Two silver dimes in only eight rolls? Lucky you!

I'm in the area, maybe I'll find some of them :) Home Street is not one of my usual stops though.

    Question:
I figure I have searched 300.00 dollars in halves. I have found
    1 Kennedy 1964
    1 Kennedy 1967
    1 Franklin 1963
    1 Barber Half
A couple of NIFC and a proof 1989.
Is my ratio of 1 keeper silver per 100 dollars about the average range of CRHs.??
Actually 3 90% and 1 40% for the month of April out of 30 rolls.

That's pretty good in my opinion. 30 rolls is not even a full box and you got 4 keepers. When I first started I went through ten boxes (500 rolls) and only found one keeper. It has it's ups and downs. You get a good score maybe a few in a row then you can get skunked for awhile.

Agreed, that's above average. But not enough data points to say much. It's only 30 rolls.

4 boxes of halves this week were not nearly as fun as last week.

    2x40%ers, a gold-plated piece of junk, 76 low-ball.

So much for semi-retirement. Box of halves at the bank:

    1969D

Got another box coming in tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have better luck.
