I always was suspicious of the TD machines, but it was always close to the number i estimated. I never complained because i would usually find stuff in the reject bin that was not mine.
Now I'm sitting here with about 100 dollars in cents and no where to dump it!

I know someone that works at TD, she put her hands up to do "air quotes" said they were "down". Was told to go across the street and use the coin star, take a picture of the voucher so they would reimburse me the coin star fee. And they did exactly that, I have been rolling them back up and dumping them on there counter since then. What she told me when her manager wasn't around is they are trying to get rid of the fees associated with the machine. Other TD banks I dump at just say it's down, the machines are getting calibrated. Maybe there is some truth to that?? Wasn't aware of the machines sort changing people.

If you need to use a coinstar... sometimes you can get a gift card receipt to avoid the fee. Might be worth a check to see if its somewhere you shop anyway.

I think you have tied my record. Kind of like the Philadelphia 76'ers.

My last two boxes of BWR Cents were average. No OMG moments.

Box 1: 19 wheatbacks, 5 Lincoln Memorial non-proof S coins, 10 Canadians. Oldest coins were 1935 and 1937, average condition.

Box 2: 19 wheatbacks, 4 Lincoln Memorial non-proof S coins, 15 Canadians. Oldest coins were 1935, (2) 1937, and 1939, average condition. This box did have a 1943 and a 1951 King George Canadian cents.

Been a while since I found a coin that floored me. Keep on searching I guess!

    $50 CWR Dimes - Skunk

    $90 CWR/BWR Nickels - 1944-P (x2), 1944-S, 1939 (but not my elusive D or S marked), and 25 pre-1960 coins in average circulated shape.

I also got my first box of cents in the last six weeks that wasn't a solid brick of new issue coins. I've got some mulch to throw around today, so I won't be able to crack into them until this evening.
