Are these customer rolled halves or from the armored carrier? None of the banks here take change that is rolled it has to be loose so they can run it through the counter. Also two of the banks there a tellers that can hear a silver coin bounce at another branch let alone theirs. My daughter is a teller and she gives any silver she finds to other tellers that keep Silver, I thought about giving her supper to the neighbors they like food too.

I have found all of mine in customer rolls, none in Fed rolls yet. Thank you all. It was a good day. Keep on searching... Kent that is too funny about giving your daughters food to the neighbors.

    Kennedy Proof Bonanza

I've searched 3 boxes since I last posted.

I'll safe box #1 for last (where I posted the proofs).

    Box 2:
3 proofs - 73s, 79s, 93s (one in terrible shape, the other two in average circulation shape)
    2 2003, 2 2004 and 1 2005
    2 40%ers

    Box 3:
    2002, 2007
    3 40%ers including a 65 in AU
    1 Franklin :D 1960

    Box 1:
    16 40%ers
    4 1964 Kennedys :)
    2 Franklins :D 49d and 60 (I need a 49 (p) for my Dansco, DARN)
    2 2004s, 1 2005
16 Proofs, 15 of which are in EXCELLENT condition

    14 1979s, 1 1993s, 1 1988s

I obviously don't need 15 1979s proofs, so I looked on the Bay and the "type 2" 1979s sells for a lot more. Anyone have a reference for me to find out what that is?

Here are the pics.....I know they aren't great, but take it from me, all but one look like they were cracked out of the plastic, maybe touched once or twice (little smudges), a couple have a contact mark, then put in those rolls. It was a fun box! I just wish I could get the Walkers like others have found in bunches.

    Finally some halves to search!

Well, none of the banks I ordered halves from ever got any for me, so I went downtown to see if I could find some loose ones to look through. Finally, I found a reasonable number - one box, 66 rolls, and 15 loose coins.

From the 66 plus loose coins:
    2x64
    2x65
    1x66
    2x68d
    2x69d
    1x 80s mirrored proof
1x full roll straight from the mindn of 09d
I thought post 01 halves never saw circulation. Anyone have any insight on this or know if I ought to keep them?

    From the box:
    1x43 Walker
    2x63d Franklin
    2x67
    1x68d
1x06d proof (with a scratch, but otherwise quite shiny)
    2x06d
    1x06p

Not the mother load that some others ahve pulled in, but I was quite pleased. My first 90%ers, to include a Walker and two Frankies. Fun to find stuff like that.

Let me know if anyone has any info about the '09s.

I'm thinking the 09's will be circulation. I have found a few as well.

I don't think the 09's were put out for circulation at all. I'd keep em. They sold for a premium by the mint.

2-3 months ago I went through a box of halves that was probably 1/3 '09's. Also many 07's & 05's. Still trying to figure out how many to keep.

    Good Day For Cents

Went to the bank yesterday to get some rolls for work - didn't have time to peruse them yesterday. Nothing of interest in the quarters, dimes or nickels - however in the 10 rolls of cents I got I found.....

    1915D in G4 condition
    1903 in VF/XF condition

I haven't found an IHC in a roll in YEARS! I'm a happy camper today.
