Two boxes halves: two 40%, two clad proofs (91-S, 95-S), eleven NIFC.

What do you do with your NIFC halves, ive gotten a few rolls of them lately from boxes and they keep piling up, just trying to figure if they are worth keeping or not.

They're worth half a dollar each, spend them.

So far I've only found 3, so...

I'm filling 2 books. Extras beyond that go to my Dad first, then maybe I'll give a few to my niece and nephews. Ugly coins go back into circulation.

If you're thinking of returning some NIFCs back to the bank, let me know. I might want to buy them if I don't already have them in my primary book. :)

been a while since I got the halves off the coin counter machine at my favorite pick up bank. They sold me $93 in halves of which $88.5 was actually halves. There were 5 quarters, 1 dime, 2 cents, and 1 small dollar. so face was a couple of dollars short. Also 4 foreign and one token. But, a couple of nice nuggets too. 2 Ben's 1952 and 1954. and 3 40% one of which was gold plated. I have found several gold plated before but this was the first that had silver content. All and all a decent lot.

    $80 Nickels (15 BWR, 25 CWR): 24 pre-1960 keepers including a 43-S and 43-P.

Have another half box of cents to go through if I ever get any peace this holiday weekend!

Garrett, I just made a deal with a fellow on another coin forum. I'm paying him 2x face plus shipping for 2014 and 2015 P&D halves. So there is a market for NIFC. :)

Searched a box of Brinks wrapped dimes, churned out three silvers - a '46-S, a 62, and a '64-D. Like finding more than one in a box.
