Try to stay on the tellers' good side. If you befriend them they may be willing to watch for certain coins or currency for you.

Yeah I'm glad the Wells Fargo across the street from me likes me.
All of the south states don't seem to like me so much, so usually I don't go to them.

  4. My teller went through 800 dollars worth of dollar rolls and found 23 susan b's. I brought the tellers doughnuts. Im getting her a gift card because she said she would hold on to any halves and others i might like. Keep them happy. You want them to smile when you walk in not say oh not this guy again

I also kept copper Canadians. I figure since they are not US coins, they are not subject to our laws.

Yeh, I have ticked off many of tellers but so what, there are ten thousand banks around here. One manager at my bank was nice though, she called me whenever she got a bunch of customer wrapped rolls, they were always better. They closed that branch but they called me when cleaning out their safe.

Three Loomis half boxes yielded 3 40% and a 2002-S proof.
One box of Loomis nickels yielded a 1938-S and a 1939-D, both about F-12.

Wow, the box of nickels was a great one in my opinion, congrats!

Found this little bad boy yesterday - looks like the date and and possibly the mint mark and "JS" has been doubled. Sorry for the lousy picture, but it's the best my iPhone could do with a coin this shiny (any tips on better iPhone coin photography, I'm all ears)

Wondering if this is a one-off mis-strike or a discovery coin. Any suggestions on what to do with it? (Other than sell it to you for face value?)

Checked 7 banks today. #2 had six forty percenters and #4 had 14 to make exactly one roll!
