    silentnviolent accumulator--selling--make an offer I can't refuse

You could probably sell it to a classmate for a few bucks if you don't want to keep it...

2 boxes of halves. 1- 40%. A few NIFC, but no plated coins or painted or anything else interesting.

Although a Canadian penny is worth less than the U.S. Pennies I still keep them

  7. My first time roll hunting. I stopped by my bank and got the only 4 rolls of halves they had. I rode with them all day in the truck and it was killing me to not look. Ima get a shower and start searching. Anything other than silver i should look for?

I'm a little crazy. I think that since they've been discontinued and are being pulled there by the govt (I heard), and most people do scoff at them, I think by the time I'm ready to keel over they might be collectible.

My thinking is that the mintage figures are moot now and survival rates will be totally unpredictable.

    Start memorizing varietyvista.com

Really, just study them for anomalies and soon you will develop an eye for what's "off"

  13. I found 2 silver 40's, and 23 bicentennial's. I kept 9 of the halves. Something jumped out at me on one centennial. On the reverse the H in hall is barely noticeable. I almost thought it said independence all

Struck through grease. My dad had a bunch like that before my brother relieved him of them many years ago. Kind of stoked embers that grew into the inferno of my passion for error coins.

500 Dollars in halves (weird box, 2 levels of 25, usually its 1 level of 50, although i prefer this box)
    3 40%
    1 2014
9 1999 (i keep them because of low mintage and its my birth year)

Since I was born in 2002, I thought it'd be interesting to collect 2002 pennies. Well I ended up taking them to the bank and got 6 dollars out of them. When I was five every penny was interesting.

I went through 23 rolls of nickels found about 40 pre 1960s 1 1943s war nickel. And a no dated Indian head/buffalo nickel ( and made the bank teller mad by asking for all the nickels)

I try not to make the bank teller mad, but it does not really matter to me how they feel.
