1 box of nickels: All 2015
1 box of pennies yielded a handful of wheats, including 4 in one roll, one of which was a 1916-D!

 

$1000 dimes - skunk-a-roo

 

I visited 7 banks got $200 in halves total and found nothing.

 

Just finished a box of cents.
9 wheats (oldest 1920d)
6 Canadian
1998 WAM (my 48th)

I searched rolls of halves and have found alot of silver in the past. Don't have much time for roll searching anymore, but as an error collector, my favorite roll find was when my 12 year old son found a clad half dollar blank in a roll. Best error coin we have ever found!

 

Searched $1000. halfs and sent in a few examples for grading so I could make comparisons on others,...came back w/ 2-MS65's and 2-MS64's from the 4 I sent in.
Searched $1000. in small dollars and sent in 2 ea SAC. and SBA.,..got back MS67,66 in SAC,...MS 66, 63 SBA,...again for comparison purposes.
Kept maybe $150.00 loose ,...deposited the rest.

1907A 10 pfennig in a roll of nickels, an old German empire coin. I recognized that beautiful eagle on its obverse

 

$30 CWR halves - skunk

$5 small dollars from fare machine - James Buchanan with almost no visible edge lettering. Half of it is blank, the other half very faint and illegible. Error, or just a weak strike? Worth saving?

 

Why I always check the coin star rejects-

 

$1,200.00 in $10 bills - 2013 star, 3x small head

 

Two boxes halves: 1-40%, 1-1977 proof, 9- NIFC

 

I visited about a dozen banks today. No big scores but almost every bank had a little silver. One 90% and 25 40%ers.
