Been a long while since my last post. Just wanted to share that I recently got a 1963 Roosevelt Dime in change at the gas station that is across the street from my now former place of work. If you recall (and I don't blame you if you don't) this is the same gas station that handed me a 1936 Washington in change a few months back.

So far in this box all I found was this 1946 CDN cent, and This really cool worthless coin. Nice MD on the date, forehead, nose and top of head/hair, with a big PMD gouge across the head. It also looks to me that there is too much hair on the back of the neck.

I am *hating* dimes the past few weeks. The only "90%" I'm seeing is "90% 2015 dimes". Argh.

I find dimes to be rather tedious to look through. Very little silver, few varieties to look for, and the dates are so damn tiny. Although, I scored a 1953-D Roosie the other day... I work at a bar that usually only deals in quarters for coins, since all the prices are rounded to the nearest quarter. Smaller change, when it comes, gets tossed into a cup and when it's full the bartenders take it down to Coinstar and use the money to buy snacks. Saw a silver rim and figured it was a Canadian, but it was the 53!

Yeah. I only do dimes when I can't get halves.

Normal end roll toning I have a bunch of these Buffalos that I bought at face and they have the same toning on most of the rolls. These are eBay a lot and if you're patient you can get them for face plus shipping sometimes free shipping even. I just like rolls and buy any I can cheap so I've seen a bunch of mint wrapped rolls and these are common end roll toned Jefferson's.

Stopped at my local bank, asked for a bok of nickels. They had none. Asked for pennies, said they had new ones so i took $10 of 2015 D. Asked if they had halves, teller said she had $30. Ill take them. They were CWR. Got home and wound up with 49 40% Kennedys out of 60 halves!

Two weeks ago I got 5.4 ounces of silver including 10 walkers and Franklins from a BoA. I went back today and they had two more rolls from the same depositor. The first roll had only two part silver halves. The second had 8 more part silver and six walkers in a roll marked "My - don't sell."

I got two more part silver.halves on the way home so 4 ounces for the day.

    2 boxes of halves.
1 single 1967. I guess some is better than none.

I hope so. It's been pretty dry lately. I will be sure to let you know if I do :)
