Two boxes halves- no silver, one stinking NIFC. Boring!

About 2/3 of the way through a box of nickels, but I couldn't finish without posting this. First 25-30 rolls were skunk, and then I found this. 1984 P with a nice die clash (more visible on the reverse) and a small cud on the right side of the obverse!

Great start to the year! I went to pick up my weekly order and Loomis forgot to bring it.

Went through my Franklin halves the other day and found a 1988 rotated die, well over 45% with double-die on the reverse. Hoping to get it looked at by someone more knowledgeable than myself today.

I go through rolls of Lincoln cents. I find a wheat in one of 8 rolls. Not much. Last night I found a bright circulated 1954 D that is better than what I have in my collection. I find lots of Canadian cents and a Singapor cent. I look for errors and find die clashes and minor irregularities. About the time I want to give up looking, I find something!

Franklin halves weren't minted in 1988??? Do you mean Kennedy half?

I would like to see a pic of the coin. I have a sneaky suspicion it may be a magician's coin.

I've searched 2 boxes of cents so far this year. First box had 10 wheaties along with a 1998 WAM. The second box had 19 wheats, the oldest being 1918.

I have a bank locally that wraps the coins customers bring In rather than paying an armored service. I bought $50 in cents and after going through $12 my nephew found 23 wheats the oldest a 1929. He got tired and quit so I will finish them this week I guess.

After finding 2 wheats in 500 coins, a cashier handed me one today in change. Go figure.
