It was raining this morning, so...$40 in CWRs, $40 NF String MWRs nickels yielded:

    2x1939
    1x1940
    1x1940S
    1x1941A
    1x1942
    1x1943S (war) :)
    1x1946
    1x1947
    1x1948D
    1x1953S
    1x1954
    1x1956D
    1x1957S
    2x1958D
    1x1959D

The MWRs were far better than the CWRs!

    Box of BWR pennies:
    3 wheats (1942. 1949-D, 1955)
    11 memorials (1959x2, 1959-Dx2, 1960-Dx2, 1969-S, 1970-Sx2, 1973-Sx2)
    4 Canadians (1963, 1980, 1987, 2011 in BU condition)

Obviously somebody had gone through this batch and plucked out all the wheats. It was a frustrating box. Neither of the '70-Ss were small dates. Better luck next time.

You save bicentennials too? I'm surprised you didn't find more. I usually find one every 2 or 3 rolls. Have you found a silver bicentennial in circulation? I found a silver business strike at work. I saved it because I save all bicentennials but didn't realize what it was until later.

yeah i've saved about 500 of them so far. i usually find about 10-20 per box. never found a silver bicentennial quarter, but i found a silver bicentennial dollar once.
i used to save the bicentennial halves too, but then i started saving more than i was dumping, so i quit. i still have $125 worth in a bag in the bottom of my safe though, along with about 70 bicentennial ikes
