Do tell how you get bags of IKES.

 

I asked the head teller at my CU about ordering a bag of Ikes... she laughed and laughed and laughed... and said no way. Since they're very tolerant of my hobby otherwise, no harm no foul.

The week's take:

$25 BWR Cents: 44, 46, 50 (x2), 52-S, 55, 56, 56-D, 57, 57-D, Canadian 72, and 598 coppers from 59-82.

$40 CWR Nickels: 38-D, 40 (x2), 41, 46, 54, 54-D (x3), 55-D (2), 57 (x2), 58-D (x2), 59, 59-D, Canadian 1999, and a 45-S war nickel. It was a good week for nickels, bringing me several hole fillers for my current "from circulation" album.

unfortunately, i dont have a camera but i would post pics . this week i'll see if i can get a microSD adapter so i can upload the pics from my cell phone. i get $500 bags of ikes at bank of america. they're shipped monthly and only one teller in the bank can sign the paperwork to order them, so i dont get them very often. i have found quite a few silver dollars before, but this is the most in one search. i almost never find silver ikes or 1973s though

just finished re-searching them for varieties, 1x 1972 Type II

 

Can't you just email the picture from your phone to your email address? I was able to do that when I had a crappy "dumb phone". I was able to do it as a text message to an email address or something like that. Now that I have a smart phone I can just email them straight to an email address.

 

I need to look into this as I would like to get some. I would spend the ones I do not want.

 

i cant send pictures through text messages for some reason. always says "not enough memory", even when the phone was brand new. i have a Nintendo DSi with a camera but i cant figure out how to upload the pictures without a FaceBook account

 

Very nice. I love me some silver. I would have just asked to buy all the dimes in the drawer.

 

Finished my 3 boxes of cents last night. Crap week:

24 wheats (oldest 1935)
1998 WAM (my 31st)
2000 WAM x2(my 46th and 47th)
1960D RPM #5 (my 2nd)

 

Well I tried Chase today and all they said was they could get a bag of dollars. Want to bet these are not IKE's.

I have no BOA around so I am hosed. Get them while you can. My wife was pissed but I told her we could spend them. She knew better.

 

Went thru $40 of MWR nickels last night

1, 1934 buffalo in good condition (only my 3rd buff and my best to date, woohoo!)
