went through a roll of quarters and found a PR quarter

 

Well I got $250 in Halves today and went through them (I don't cherry pick just lookfor the obvious) didn't find any silver or double die 1974D but did find a 1981S Proof. It was in real nice shape to have been no telling where only had a few of the usual marks on it from sorter and being rolled but still very clearly a Proof with a ton mirror like finish. Not bad for face value. Kent

I don't know if this counts, but I found an AU 1958 wheat penny in my change yesterday.

 

Good luck with your search! I'm going to pick up another $400 from the same bank as today and hope for the same results.

 

i love the 1958 wheatie last of the wheats i try to find all years but love that one as well as the 1959 first year lincoln memorial kinda cool having a last and a first

$210 in halves at one bank and there averaged 1 good one in every roll. 18 49%ers 1 90% 1 74-S and a partial struck out of collar.

I got an Andrew Jackson dollar out of a vending machine. I don't know if it counts, but I have now gotten one of each of the 2008 circulating coins out of circulation.
