I opened about 5 rolls of nickels last night and only found a '58-D and a '60-D.

The other day, I bought a full roll of uncirculated 2013 pennies, because 2013 is the year that my interest in coins was revitalized.

You're having mad luck. Reminds me of my silver dime finds of a few months ago.

been a while since I posted, harvest time here on the farm has been keeping me busy, just finished. Picked up $1,000 Ikes and 4 boxes of halves. finished 3 boxes or halves already.
    2 - 40's
1 Ben 1963 near perfect unc
11 - various 2002 or later unc. (one 2012 so recently boxed)
    1 - 1998s clad proof
got a question. did the federal reserve release some new 2001 halves that they had been sitting on? these boxes are loaded with them, beautiful mirror finish. Look like could be from a unc. bag??? But there are average 7.8 per roll of 20.
Still have one more box and the Ikes to go

1983P Nickel with a cud on the obverse

Ironically enough, I found a coin posted on CoinCommunity that is identical.

Is this a common cud mark on the 1983P nickel?

Tabor - I have that exact cud nickel. I found it in a roll last month. Pretty sure I posted it on here. :)

Crazy...is this common for the 1983P nickels? How would this happen? Any premium on the piece? Thanks.

Stopped by the bank on the way back to work after a doctor's appointment. Got $50 in CWR halves and $100 in BWR halves. Didn't have time to check the BWR's (later tonight) but the CWR's were fun. About half of the coins were 1971, but ONE ROLL had 14 40%'s and 1 90%.

That roll looked really cool when I slid it out of the wrapper and into my palm!

Was the 90% a '64 or was it a Barber, Walking Liberty, Franklin, or older design?

The 90% was a '64 with a lot of ugly black gunk on it. It didn't look like a natural patina, but it was beautiful to me!

I'm not really sure if it is common. It certainly is the only one I've run into in almost $10k worth of nickels searched. Looking at ebay sold listings it seems to be about ~$15.

    $80 cwr nickels - 1 war(43p)
    $200 cwr/bwr dimes - 1 roosie (64p)
$270 bwr halves - skunk, but I was happy to just find halves at a bank. That never happens to me.
