Another night at work with some amazing finds!:
    14 wheats: '19x2, '34, '39, 42, 44, 45, 46x2, 52D, 53, 53D, 57, 58D.
    1959 P and D.
    1973S

    Nickels: 41D, 68S, 69Sx2
Found a Rainbow Toned Bicentennial Quarter.
And finally, probably the best find of the night, an uncirculated 1981D quarter. Still has the orange luster on the sides. Looks beautiful.

Nice find CT. Yes, I also usually get 1-2 Wars per box, usually 1 Buff per 3-4 boxes and I've found 6 Liberty Nickels this year (out of about 100 boxes).

    Box of Pennies:

    6 Wheats (1935, 1942, 1942D, 1946, 1954D, 1957D)
    8 Canadians
    I did find one variety...another 1998 WAM.

What do you look for in jeffersons?

Zach, I'm new at this, but as far as Jeffersons go: war nickels and buffalos. Oh, and any/all 2009.

Some people say they find V nickels, or even Shields. I dunno. I find that hard to believe, but I guess stranger things have happened.

I tried searching for errors, but Pennies were so much easier (IMHO).

If you are trying to fill a book, then that's a different story.

In terms of nickels, I keep any and all nickels that are pre1960 as well as 2009 (low circulation). Key dates are 1938D or S, 1939D or S, War Nickels (1942-1945 with mm over dome on reverse), 1950D. Also, I have found my fair share of Buffalo Nickels and Liberty Nickels.

4 more boxes of Halves: 1-40%
I've got 16 boxes to go through by Saturday. If I don't get more then 16 silvers (my long term average) out of them instead of the recent 8 silvers, I'll have to take a break or shift to another distributor.
I've gone a new personal record 27 boxes now without a single 90%.

    Box of Nickels: 20 pre1960, 1952S, 1983 GB 20 pence. That's about it.

However, I'm just happy to be able to search. One word from my supplying bank and I'd be out of luck. I'll enjoy it while I can get 'em.

I was at work and running low on nickels. I popped open a roll, and went through it like I always try to when I get a chance. I found a 1946 nickel, and kept searching. I found a 1943 nickel and thought "cool, another '40s nickel! Wait a minute..." and flipped over the nickel and saw the P mintmark. This was the first silver nickel that I've ever found in circulation. A bit later, the other drawer was running short of nickels so I popped open another roll and found another '46 nickel. I picked through the roll some more and found yet ANOTHER 1943-P nickel. Two 1943 and two 1946 nickels in two consecutive rolls. I have a few more war nickels that I bought off ebay and jingling them together makes a haunting, unique sound. I imagine it as I'm listening to the past.

    2 Boxes of halves:

    Box 1 - no silver, but 9 NIFC - 2012p x 4, 2012d, 2011d, 2009p, 2009d, 2007d

    Box 2 - 53d x 2 (my first Franklins), 64, 66 x 2, 69d

That is my best box of halves I've had so far. Before that my best find was 2 40%'s in one box, and 5 40%'s from one tellers tray.

    $50 dimes today - skunk
    $100 quarters - 2 Ft. McHenry-P
$200 dollars - All of them are US mint rolls of coins except 1. 05D Sac, 09P Taylor, 09P Fillmore, 12D Arthur, 13D McKinley, 13P Taft, 13P Roosevelt. Also a roll of NF String Jacksons.

Are those dollars worth trying to resell? I see they are going for around $36 a roll on ebay. Not sure if it would end up being worth it with fees and all that. Or should I just unroll them and release them into circulation for other people to find? :)
