I have been coin collecting for only a couple years and have been searching pennies mostly. That coin is my first silver dime (pathetic) and second overall (have a silver nickel too).

I finished searching my first full box of pennies last night. My local BoA branch gave me the ok to pick up a box or two every week (as long as I promised not to being them back). I don't know if I'm up to churning through 100 rolls a week with my spare time, but nice to know they don't mind helping me out.

    The score from Box #1: 1942, 1951 (2), 1951-D (3), 1954, 1959-D, 1991 Canadian cent, and 547 pre-83 copper cents.

    $50 in dimes - skunk
    $200 in nickels - 1 Buf(1925), 1 War(43p)
$300 in quarters - skunk-a-roo. All I want is a Denver Chaco Culture and I can stop wasting my time with these.

I've gone through $100 of my $200 in cents and nothing much so far. Oldest is 1917d, Will update when I get through them.

went to the bank to buy some quarters. a guy who works at the arcade was there depositing coins and i saw him deposit a roll of halves. go to buy the halves when its my turn and when the teller opened the drawer to get them out, right there on top of the fifties was a old looking CWR of large dollars. i immdiately bought both the dollars and halves, as well as $3 in loose halves they had. i got frustrated after looking through the halves and they were all from 1995-2001. when i opened the dollars up and started taking them out 1 coin at a time, it appeared that all were 1972-d's, but then, about 12 coins in, i came across a worn, spotted 1921 morgan. i got so excited i dumped the rest of the coins out, and 2 coins from the bottom there was a 1922 peace in great condition, but it has a few bag-marks. these are silver dollars #2 and #3 so far. and all came from the same BOA branch

Found this in my last box today. It's my first blank planchet. It's also copper so this thing has been circulating for some time.
