Congrats! Since you kept track of your volume, I'll ask...how many silver coins have you found?

    30 Wars, 1 Merc, 5 Roosies, 2 quarters, 26 40% and 4 90% halves. Not much but I didn't really start searching for silver until about 6 mos ago. I've also pulled 2072 wheats, 5 IH's, and a bunch of different errors and varieties including 22 2000 WAMs, 7 1998 WAMs, 3 1995 DDOs, the 72 DDO#1, #2, and #3.

Thanks. 7.78oz of sliver for $17.60 isn't too shabby I guess. Could always be better though. Hopefully my next year I will get more.

Impressive? Maybe. My wife would say Sad due to all the time spent away from the family. OCD is a terrible affliction.

I'm sure you've tried...but have you involved your family? When I have a good box (indicated by lots of enders), I usually have my wife and kids join in.

At work today I had an elderly customer that wanted to pay with exact change. She gave me 2 silver dimes! 1964 and a 1951!
    IMG_4950.JPG
This now gives me a total of 3 silver dimes found at work.

In desperation I bought $25 worth of BWR cents, a box. Couldn't get nickels or dimes or anything else.

As usual when desperation sets in I end up being pleased...

1909 VDB only an AG-3 - only the second VDB reverse I have found.
    1936
    Another 9 1941-58 cents
    2 68-74 S
    5 Canadian YH
One 1972 cent counterstamped with "Merry Christmas".

I canna say my little ornery money loving heart was disappointed.

    1 box of each.

Pennies: 11 Wheat, 2 possible errors
    Nickels: 1936 Buffalo, 3 war, bunch from 40's & 50's
    Dimes: 1963d Rosie
Foreign: 1997 Singapore 20 cent piece

Nothing to do a happy dance over, but at least I didn't get skunked on my first *real* try :)

Got a few hundred $ of CWR half dollars but they were all marked on the outside of the wrapper with the year. Didn't have the kahunas to tell the cashier "never mind". Searched 'em anyway; nothing. Getting some machine-wrapped rolls tomorrow <crosses fingers>

    Boxes #24-#28 of Halves: 3-40%.

Besides Grandma deposited Grandpa's silver collection or burgulars depositing their booty or the occasional forgetful mistake, I can't imagine an other explanation for large collections of silver coins being found. I would never expect the silver from the posts listed here to ever see the inside of a bank vault again.
