$150 CWR Quarters: 1961 Quarter (my first quarter CRH!)

 

At work today I found a 1939P Jefferson and a 1926 wheat. Oldest wheat I have found in months!

 

$60 CWR Halves: Rubbish!
$8 Loose Halves: Nothin'
$180 CWR Quarters: Garbage!
$60 BWR Quarters: '64-D (YES! )
$70 CWR Dimes: Nada
$10 BWR Dimes: Skunk
$54 CWR Nickels: 45-P, 43-P and an 1899 Liberty! YES (again)!
$6 BWR Nickels: Junk!
$5 CWR Cents: 3 wheats (nothing significant), '80-S, whole lotta Cu
Overall, I'd say positive, but strange: a silver quarter, two silver nickels and a 114 year old nickel. Usually, I find so many more silver dimes/halves its not even funny. (Not complaining )

 

I was looking through some penny rolls from Ebay (wheat penny rolls), I found a 1928 D penny.

In half dollar rolls, I found two '76 Bicents. No silver coins, unfortunately.

 

Found my first silver half dollar ender!

anyone know where to get empty half rolls? my dump bank told me to roll my coins before switching them for paper money. all the rolls i can find are cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, and small dollars. i cant find half or large dollar rolls anywhere!

 

I've never seen a large dollar roll before. Those are almost impossible to find. But halves are uncommon at banks.

But I did manage to find a 1/2 dollar roll in December 2011. I've never seen a big dollar roll.

 

first $100 in dimes SKUNK! darn it. while searching I had a skunk feeling the whole time. rolling them now to go get another $100.

 

I don't usually find dime rolls nowadays.

 

$100 in CWR nickels gave me a 35 Buf, 43S, and a 09D
$325 in small dollars were nothing but skunk.

Really? I can go to nearly any bank in town and ask for Half Dollar wrappers and get plenty.

 

I can't find a half dollar let alone a wrapper to save my life around here. I would kill to be able to search some.

 

It takes longer, but I re-roll them in the wrappers they come in. Saves me having to get wrappers. Plus I've never had a question on them being accepted when I turn them in to my dump bank when they all say Brinks on the wrapper. Just pry open one end and pour them out. The load them back in after you've checked them. You get a system and it goes pretty fast once you're used to it.

 

I didn't say that I can get half dollars at any bank...just empty wrappers to roll if I needed any.

 

we went to eat. then came home to clean the fish tank now on to the recycled $100 dimes 2nd time. we me luck. i've had great luck at this bank for 5 silver dimes and 7 canadian silver dimes.
