$13 in loose halves... one 40%
63 ikes... one 40%. The second one I have found. It's a '71.
Also picked up 35 red seal $2 bills. Many is great condition. Haven't check them all yet but one was a star note.

25 $ in pennies- 3 wheaties.

26 # in nickels-8 pre 60's, yet no silver.

Finally got the time to buy a microscope and I finally got my first roll of pe-1960 nickels!

Lucky I haven't been able to find a morgan dollar from the year 18,810 in like ever.

long time lurker....first post. haven't had much success searching halves and only found 2 after going through 4000 coins so kinda gave up. Today I was heading to a different town nearby to metal detect and stopped by a local bank and bought up 9 rolls of halves. First roll had 15 40%ers, second roll had 11 40%, next rolls were skunks and last roll had 1 40%er. 9 rolls and 27 40%ers!!!!! I've enjoyed reading about some of the great finds on this forum and glad I finally got lucky for a change!

My bank decided to start charging members 4% at the end of september...
I have not been hunting much lately so I decided I better go get after it while I still can.
I have never had much luck with halves and all the posts I've seen of massive finds have made me envious......... until today. Out of one box I found 28 40% halves.I'm going to order 2 boxes for monday....

 

the other day i rode my bike up to the nearest bank to buy some $2 bills. the teller said she didnt have any, but that earlier that day a customer had brought in a roll of halves, and asked if i wanted it. i said yes, and when i got home and opened it up, there was a franklin right on the end. i got really excited and pulled it out, and there was another! the roll had 13 franklins and 7 walkers (2 are dateless). this is my best find ever!
