Cool! That's an interesting coincidence, a few days ago, I searched two rolls of dimes and got a 1963. What are the chances of that?!

I wouldn't normally post a 1945 wheatie, but I think this one is worth posting. I found it in a bank box today.

Nearly full mint luster! Perhaps the nicest 60+ year old penny I have ever found in circulation.

Value to anyone else: maybe a dollar. Value to me: priceless!

It's been 2 weeks since I opened a box of halves. I missed my deadline for last week and I just got around to it this week. My last 7 boxes have been ALL skunk.

However, my luck turned around today.

    Box of Halves: 1x90%, 24x40% :) (& 3 enders)

This is my best box ever regarding number of silver coins. I've got one more box of halves to pick up from the same location.

I picked up the other box of Halves at my bank. I was hoping to repeat my 25-silver coin find from earlier. I didn't hit that number but I am okay with it.

    Box of Halves: 17x40% (& 3 enders)
My son (7) and daughter (4) helped me open the rolls. We were keeping track on who found the most. My daughter won with 7, I had 5 and my son had 5. Great family bonding time! :)

    Image128.jpg
    Total for today (only 2 boxes of Halves): 1x90%, 41x40% = 6.42 ozs (approx. $142 @ $22.15/oz).
This puts my total for the year at 201 silver coins. :)

Found my first 90%er. Not buying boxes yet, but 10 rolls or so every other week has been kind to me, 64 and a couple 68's.
