Small haul!

Today I found 2 1964 Kennedy half dollars and 9 part silver Kennedy half dollars. Also 5 silver dimes. Not bad!

And, as usual, I released all unwanted coins back into the wild unharmed and unmarked for future collectors...

Darchangel found a gold coin not long ago. I believe she found it while searching dimes or nickels but idk for sure. It's on this thread somewhere.

I also don't search halves anymore because it's pointless in my area. I search through nickels and cents now and don't bother marking them. Also I don't consider it a jerk move. Mutilating a coin like I find in every fifth cent roll is a jerk move. I know the day I find a 1992-D Close AM some jackass is going to have taken a screwdriver to the obverse a few hundred times.

I have gone through 1000s of 98,99,00 and alot of them are clean. The 2 - 2000s I found are a mess.

Stopped by the bank in my office building to pickup some more paper wraps and I asked if they have anything interesting. She pulls out a 68 half....my first half from a teller tray!!

    Moonshine ....................

Hey all. Haven't checked in recently. I'm still at it but my volume is low. Doing around 1-2 boxes of dimes and 1/2 - 1 box of halves a week. So far this year for dimes I'm at 17.5 boxes with 20 Roosies and 1 Merc found.

A quick halves highlight (don't think I posted this)...I was able to buy a $1000 bag from a coin counter that is not used to dump by anyone. It took many months for it to come close to being full and I ended having to dump over $200 to top off the bag. I did great though:
1943, 1964 x 2, 40% x 30, 1976s
I recently picked up around $425 in Ikes from a dump bank and did well....found THREE type 2's and my first Friendly Eagle.

I also picked up a US Mint roll of 2000 Golden Dollars from my buy bank. The problem is the reverses are showing on the ends so I don't know which mint they are from.

    second box: skunked
    third box: skunked

    (boxes 2-4 were all taped...
