$40 Nickels 43p war, 17 pre 1960 which included 4 AU 1939
$1 loose Halves - nothing

 

2 boxes of nickels one brinks one loomis. brinks held 3 war loomis skunk. time to turn them in and get some more b4 banks close.

 

Went to BOA to dump some coin and the teller had two 40% halves just sitting in her tray. Snagged them right up!

Its not a lot of money by any means, but still made 3x my money. The 7 rolls of Jefferson Nickels and the 1939d we sold on eBay, the others were on Craigslist so I had no fees for most.

 

I still haven't been able to find any silver in teller trays! Are tellers/bank personnel allowed to just pocket the silver and replace with face value coins?

 

As far as I know they can. Obviously they just have to buy it. My finance works at BOA and its actually the one I went to today and she says if they want they can buy coins.

Also, while looking for half dollars, I picked up two boxes of halves from some out-of-town banks. I'll go through them this weekend!

 

Found this 1998-P Roosevelt with a collar clash a couple of days ago.

 

Interesting, I've never seen $1 rolls of nickels before

I have more Boxes on the way I hope I get a few more in them.

 

1 box nickels 1 box pennies. skunk and 6 wheats and of course some copper. went to the lcs and picked up 7 halfs then the antique store got 20 roos and 10 mercs. then my daughter traded me all of her silver and the next 5 she finds of any type for a bird. bad trade i lost alot of money on that one lol.
