    WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS THREAD!?

On a side note, my CRH has been in quite the slump. The last 6 dime boxes have been skunks, I've stopped doing halves (going to start again I hope), and my nickel boxes have about 1 war or buff per 2 boxes.

Honestly a pittance but it is something for nothing. Two rolls of pre-'64's with different years and mintmarks will probably go for about $10

Opened my first box of halves tonight and hit silver in the first roll. Note I said silver. I was really excited 1 roll in and I already found a 1969. Sadly, that was it. It was fun though and I am ordering another box tomorrow. If bicentennial's were silvers I would be rich. There were a ton of them.

Rick is there a reason you get into a spat with someone almost everytime you post.
And I took this pic into my lcs and looked at a 84 double ear it is not a 84 double ear error, its a wore 84 penny as said by a collecter that has to make a living on this knowning this.

I'm not calling you out or anything I'm just saying its bad, when you post that a lot of post after that is you spatting with someone over it.

And ps it is highly highly unlikey to find this meny errors in one place unless your at the mint when they are struck.

Once again not trying to fight just saying this always happens

To tell you the truth, just trying to let some of you guys see your wasting your time looking for junk silver, the real money is looking though rolls for error coins ! Hopefully some of you will be smart enough to start looking for errors like this one, you would have to find 30 junk silver half dollar coins, to add up to this DDR #3 Minnesota Extra Tree Error, Obverse Stage B & Reverse Stage B A044 - 20130225_121411 (3).jpg A042 - 20130225_120828 (3).jpg A015 - 20130224_104858 (2).jpg A040 - 20130225_113312 (3).jpg A028 - 20130225_055052 (3).jpg

Ok rick you just made me mad

This is something we do for fun, myself I keep my find I keep proofs I don't keep errors I don't like them they are hard to get graded to be able to sell them for the kinda of money your talking about.

If they are a clear error, yes I will sell them but please I may be only speaking for myself but don't tell me I'm wasting my time.

This is the last I'm saying to any of this you may post back that's your right, but I will not reply if you direct it toward me.

    Thank you for your time.

    Good luck error hunting

Well...had a great day. My new halves bank (WF) ordered me two boxes even though i only asked for one. Gotta love that!!

    First box was skunk.
Second box was great: 1 90%, 6 40%, 1 proof 78, a nice toned coin, and a cool 75 panama halve. Plus i got to do this with my mom, she's in town visiting this week. That was a lot of fun! 2013-02-27_20-58-26_397.jpg

There are 30+ types of varieties (not errors) for the Minnesota state quarter and only one or two are valuable.
