The great nickel drought of of 2013 is finally over for me! First box didn't give up anything super cool, about 20 pre-60 and 2 Canadians. 2nd box was much better, 1 Canadian, 1 09-D and in one roll a 40s, 54d, 2-43p wars, and a 46s hole filler :). Time to hit up my two cent boxes. I've got a good feeling about them...

Another box of Halves: Another skunk.

    Bad streak so far.
Last 11 boxes of halves have given up 1x90% and 1x40%. Ugh!

    I've got this same problem.
I started a new job 3 weeks ago, and my roll searching has all but come to a halt. I work 9-530 M-F and sometimes a little on Sat, which makes roll searching super hard.
I did find 1 supermarket Chase branch on my way home that's open until 8pm, and I got some halves from them. But I don't feel comfortable picking up 1-2 boxes of halves and walking out of Meijer with them.
And most of the Detroit banks downtown close at 5pm, and even if they didn't, or if I could get some coin at lunch, I don't really feel comfortable carrying that much coin in/out or leaving it in my car.
My plan is to hit the 8pm bank occasionally for CWR, and to order from a branch in Dearborn on my way home that's open til 630p on fridays. And get coin all hungover on Saturday if I'm not working. We'll see how it goes.
    Sorry about the rant.

Oh, and $210 CWR from the supermarket branch: 1 90% Ken, 2 40%ers.

    Box 1 halves - 2 x 40%ers
    box 2 - skunk

box 1 also had a diez peso 1982 and a roll with 22 coins so the silver was free. These new banks are working out well. Seems like they can keep supply me with weekly box and they are not all skunks. Making some new connections.

Way to go man, welcome back aboard the boat. Let's hope none of them blow a hole in the hull.

    Today's results:

    $5 Pennies: 63 copper, 1 Canadian, 1953P, 1958P

    $4 Nickels: 1949P

    $15 Dimes: Skunk

$100 Quarters: Skunk. One roll was all Alaska ATB Denver, which I already have. Except one coin was an Arizona State quarter. Someone must have gotten their first Alaskas, only needed one, took it out. At least they had the decency to replace it. But they could have replaced it with a 1916 Standing Liberty quarter and didn't, so a pox on them.

    Stupid Loomis boxes, I hate Loomis... 4 boxes, 2 40%. Not a bad day, though. 14 90%, 31 40%, 13 proofs, and a '82-P no FG? I'll take that any day.

Wow Fade....not to shaby. I'd be happy with 14 90%er's in a month let alone a day.

i found a bank that likes to have a fresh box of halves on hand....as the teller said..."for people like me". I hope to use them in between my box orders at my bank. I picked up another $160 in halves from them and got 1 90% and 1 40%. $60 in dime CWR skunk.

I'll start February with 2 halve boxes tomorrow

These banks continue to impress. The boxes are there and they're quick about it too! Picked up 2 boxes and went through one on break.
Box 1 - 1964 - good way to start off the month
    Box 2 - later tonight

Well the cent boxes weren't as impressive as I thought they'd be. only 13 wheats between the 2 of em. I did pull an 82 with what looks like to be a cud on the bottom and a 1996 with no "In God We" and missing part of the "L" in Liberty. Looks like a grease filled die. Other than that, my earliest wheat was a 40. Blah.

Hey, well this is my first post in this thread, although this isn't a roll find its from roll searching. While dumping my cents, the machine broke down and I had to get help, inside the machine, jammed in the mechanism was a decent 1972D ike, bank guy just gave it to me even though I said it wasn't mine. Nice find in my opinion, no pic yet sorry
