Question to half dollar roll searchers:
When you're looking through your boxes of halves do you do an edge search and remove any silver or silver-clad coins first, then look for bright edges or dates you might need (if you're trying to fill out a set). Are people still looking for the '74 D DDO? Has anyone ever found one? Of the 79 million '74Ds minted how many do you suppose have been examined? Many of the 74 D's I find in boxes have an identifying mark on them, either black, blue, or red marker.
Roll searching was a lot easier when I had younger eyes.

Holy Spam-a-lot! I almost feel like CT got hit with a drive-by shooting! I highly suspect a kick/ban of sorts to occur. I'm slightly afraid to click into any of the other threads right now....who knows, maybe it's a virus!

I wish you luck on topping off those rolls and more Fade...
...btw, nice benny ;) I love when they seem to escape the wear that circulation tends to have on them...thanks to the previous owner/s

Do you guys have a bank account with every bank you go to get a box of coins at? Cuz i got denied service at beneficial bank. Now i think im flagged at all beneficial bank. I went to the beneficial bank in town last week twice, the 2nd time i went there she ask me for my name and gave me the box of dimes. Today i went to a beneficial bank in a different town and ask for a box of dimes and she ask where i lived and i told her then she ask if i got an account with us and i said no, and she said i cant give you anything if you dont got account with us.

I wouldn't worry about viruses or anything, they can only get onto your computer if you go to an outside site... The spam crap has been happening every night, they really need to step up their anti-spam game.

Thanks J, maybe I'll get it done today with some luck... probably not, ha. I've probably got 30-40 uncirculated Bens, they're quite nice coins when free of rub and that mint luster shines through.

Yes, I have accounts with every bank I use.

    12 pack

Here's a pic of the 12 Roosies I scored out of that $600 in CWR dimes. Some of which came from a school fundraiser. Almost an ounce of silver dimes from this and the one from the reject while dumping.

They go through quarters alot more than dimes, which makes sense. They only had BWR Q's so I did not bother.

Out of 200 dollars in nickels 150 worth were solid unc 2004 with an occasional 2005 thrown in. Should I take the time to search for the known 2004 p ddo variety or not. Forgot to mention they are all Philly mint.
