I had that problem for like 2 months until I hit those 4 wars tonight in only $20 of BWR. It was getting frustrating because I have been betting a lot of Nickels lately but pulled nothing but two Buffalos. Feels good to break out of the funk and find silver. Going to get a box tomorrow and hope to find more.

Man, I wish my boxes were producing like that! CWR's are treating me well this year, though!

Three boxes of halves: Nothing but a 1987 P
    $230 CWR halves: A 1972 D with a missing "FG," eleven 40%, and two 64's
$2 loose halves and $3 loose Ikes: Nothing

Also picked up a box of pennies to hold on to for when I get the itch. Tried this a few months ago and it didn't last the night, we'll see how it goes this time!

Just a couple rolls today... I found a 1999 wide "AM" cent. Not sure if this is a more common "wide" or not.

I believe 1999 wams are the most valuable of the three ('98, '99, and 2000). Nice find!:thumb:

Managed to track down a box of halves today! The teller told me they were fresh still fed rolled. I opened the box and could automatically tell they were not fed rolled. I took them anyways just because it's the first full box I've ever seen. They were someone's dumps. :( Oh well, I managed to fill most of the holes from my circulated set with them and got a couple of NIFC.

Alright, so 16 more boxes, 2 proofs, a nice lowball '84-D (Sadly, was on the end of a roll and has roller damage... probably takes it from a $60-$70 coin to a $25 coin), 70 40%ers, and 20 90%ers... 3 Walkers, 4 bens, including a '57 Proof, 12 '64's, and my first modern silver proof, a 2010-S.

    That's 34 boxes this week, 34 90%ers and 206 40%ers to show for it. Yearly goal is 500oz... I'm at 43 or so after this week alone! Here's yesterdays finds;

Wow nice, '99's are tough as anything to find, rarer than IHC's back when I searched cents on a regular basis. Congrats!

    $100 BWR nickels: 2 buffalo with indeterminate dates (I think one is 1915, but it's too worn to say for sure), 1 Canadian, '38-D (!), 2 '39-P, 2009-P (my first!), 9 40's inc. a damaged '47-S and 15 50's inc. a 51-S.

I'm not a roll searcher but always keep my eyes open for anything unusual. I found this a few days ago in a roll of nickels at work. This was the only thing worth saving. Needless to say it really stood out from all the Jeffs. Pretty cool finding such an unusual coin in circulation.

Okay, so I went to a few banks to look for halves. Found almost nothing, but one bank had two rolls that were obviously someone's collection: 39 mixed date clad BU coins and one BU 1969-D. I decided to get a few boxes of dimes to search. At one bank, I noticed a bunch of silver (?) quarters at the bottom of the teller's tray.

I nonchalantly asked, "Are those Canadian quarters in your tray?"

The teller replied, "No, they're not Canadian, they're silver."

Damn, I thought, I won't get those. But I asked anyway, "Can I buy them?"

My dream teller replied, "Sure you can! I have $2.75 worth."

I ripped three dollar bills out of my wallet so fast one of the bills caught fire. After putting the fire out, I walked out of the bank with a big smile and 11 silver quarters: 1936, 1944-D, 1954, 1955-D (AU/BU), 1956, 1952-D, 1964 (x2), and 1964-D (x2).

I also found one 1965 half dollar later in the day, 5 Roosies in the dime boxes, and a 1942 Merc , VF+.

Not a bad day! I love finding a little variety...
